VFL Bochum will face Borussia Dortmund on 15.02.2025. The match will kick off at 3.30 pm and will take place at the Vonovia Ruhrstadion (Bochum).

When Borussia Dortmund have traveled to Bochum in recent years, they have often had to share the points. In 4 of the last 5 games there was a draw. Dortmund won one game and that was in 2023 in the DfB Cup. At the moment, Dortmund seem to be catching up a bit. Sure, they lost to Stuttgart in their last league game, but Dortmund didn't play that badly. During the week they were able to confirm that they can do it. With a 3-0 win in Lisbon, they set the stage for the last 16 of the Champions League, but of course they now have to take the next step in the second leg. VFL Bochum are currently in 18th place. Whether they can still avoid relegation remains to be seen. I'm going for a Borussia Dortmund win here, even if I realize that it's on shaky ground. Dortmund away is always a case in itself. But I see the 1.72 as good odds. With a 2 goal lead the game is already over.
