FootballOn 18.08.2024 FC Teutonia 05 Ottensen will play against SV Darmstadt. The match will take place at 3.30 pm at the Millerntor Stadium (Hamburg).
First round DFB Cup and we look to Hamburg. Teutonia Ottensen, currently in the Regionalliga Nord, will host SV Darmstadt, who have just been relegated from the first to the second division. It won't be a real home game for Teutonia as they won't be playing in their own stadium. It will be played in the stadium of FC St. Pauli.
Teutonia's start to the season was not exactly exhilarating. In their last game, they were beaten 3:1 by Werder Bremen (II) and the day before they lost 5:2 at VfB Oldenburg. Only on the first matchday did they pick up a point against Blau-Weiß Lohne. Darmstadt's start did not go any better, however. 2 games have been played in the 2nd Bundesliga and Darmstadt lost both. Nevertheless, I think that Darmstadt will gain a bit of self-confidence here with a big win. Of course you could also go for a handicap, but in this case I take the 3.5 Over because I think Teutonia can score a goal.
