Now it's time for the first division to start again. Well, almost. The DFB Cup is starting and the first division teams are also starting the season with their first competitive matches. For Friday evening, I've picked out the game between SSV Ulm and Bayern Munich. Ulm were able to celebrate two promotions in the last two years and have therefore risen from the Regionalliga to the 2nd division. The start in the 2nd division was anything but good.
