NBL: Taranaki Airs - Nelson Giants

During the summer break, it's time to take a look at the smaller, more unknown leagues. This doesn't mean that these tips are any less valuable, but are simply intended to broaden your horizons. Basketball is "my" second sport after American football and I have been following the league in New Zealand for a long time. Taranaki is by far one of the best teams and with McCarron, the two Cameron brothers and Froling, they have four players who will also play in the very strong Australian league. The Nelson Giants have no such player. In addition, there is also a decent difference in the quality of the American players. Taranaki won both duels in the regular season by a clear 19 and 16 points and center Sam Froling was even missing in the second game.
