The German national ice hockey team must now score points. In their first game, Germany defeated Slovakia 6 to 4, which was a great success. However, this was followed by two crushing defeats against the strong US team and title contenders Sweden. The results were 1 to 6 against the USA and another 1 to 6 against Sweden. On 15.05.2024, however, the German team must first play against Latvia. Until Friday 17.05.2024 when they face their opponents Kazakhstan.

Kazakhstan won their first game against France 3 to 1, but lost their second game against Slovakia 2 to 6. They lost their third game against Latvia 0 to 2.
