Champions League: Barcelona vs Paris

On Tuesday 16.04.2024, Spanish club FC Barcelona will play the second leg of their Champions League tie against French side Paris St Germain. It will be played in Barcelona Spain. The first leg between the two top clubs ended in the Parc des Princes in Paris with a somewhat surprising 3:2 victory for Barcelona. This showed that despite being in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, there was no great feeling out between the two. The hosts FC Barcelona had to play away to Cadiz in the league at the weekend and won 1-0 with difficulty. However, a number of regular players were rested. Paris St Germain's league game was postponed and so they had more rest than the hosts, which is of course an advantage in professional football. Since there is no longer an away goal rule for Barcelona, they have a one-goal lead from the start. The Parisians will therefore have to give their all to reach the semi-finals.
