After 15 years of experience I can tell you that in the long run you lose much more than you win when you play high stakes and the other way around you win much more when you limit yourself to single lines. To that run games like... this especially outside of the session fully well. Say at Easter I play Christmas games and at Christmas I play Easter games. As soon as I have less than 2 € credit I play up to max 3 lines and either I win during the following 50 spins what or I go with the last 50 cents again on 1 cent bet. In 7 out of 10 cases I manage to play my way back up
