Why do so many casino-streamers play on Stake.com?
In the past we had reported several times about the successful Casino-Streamers on Twitch. In the past the large Streamers Roshtein, TrainwrecksTV and MontanaBlack earned a lot of money with their Live-Sessions. It is remarkable that by time even more streamers have landed on Stake.com. We have tried to explain the reasons for this.
In August of last year we had asked in an article, whether Casino-Streams on Twitch will soon be banned. Recently several famous Twitch-Streamers all announced that they will voluntarily be stopping the Casino-Streams. However to this day there are still many Casino-Streamers, especially outside Germany, which gamble online for thousands of Euro or Dollars. Why is it that the majority of gambling streams take place in the Online Casino of Stake.com?
Twitch-Streamers bet more often on Crypto-Casinos
We wanted to find out why the provider Stake.com is chosen so often by the Casino-Streamers. Thus we registered ourselves on this online casino without making a deposit. Very soon we realised that Stake.com is merely a Crypto-Casino. This means that deposits and pay-outs are here done solely through crypto currency. The following digital payment methods are available for selection:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
- Ethereum (ETH)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Dogecoin (DOGE)
- Ripple (XRP)
- Tron (TRX)
- EOS (EOS)
No alternative payment methods such as credit cards or E-Wallets are available for players. Therefore the stake-player can only carry out anonymous deposits through crypto currencies.
Further to this we could choose from a huge game portfolio on Stake.com. To be more precise, at the time of our test there were 2015 games available, the majority of which were from renowned providers as Play’n GO, NetEnt, Yggdrasil or Evolution Gaming. Therefore a Casino-Streamer has here enough choice to be able to offer the viewers new interesting game sessions on a regular basis. However it is here to be noted that even other online casinos have a comparable game portfolio. Besides this, Stake.com has a gambling licence which was issued by the Caribbean State of Curacao.
Why do Streamers play on Stake.com?
It seems obvious that many Casino-Streamer play on Stake.com since it is a crypto-currency casino which does not take deposits or makes pay-outs in real money. Many casino streamers hope to have an advantage here in avoiding any impeding legal disputes.
Besides this it is most probable that the management of Stake.com provides the gambling streamers with attractive offers if they play there. At the end of the day a Casino-Streamer with a large audience is an attractive possibility for every provider to recruit new customers. Out of interest we contacted the management of Stake.com and received the following reply:
“Thank you for contacting us. We are always interested in sponsoring and possible collaborations (…) please ensure that (…) you attach a link to your channel and leave your Stake username (…). Thank you once again for contacting us.”
Unfortunately no one contacted us again after our request since of course we could not name an existing Twitch channel with relevant coverage, as they had requested from us.
Many streamers cannot resist the financial incentives provided by the online casinos. As the news portal T3N reported some time ago, crypto casinos are said to be offering influencers with relevant coverage ten thousand dollars per hour if they play with the particular provider.
As the portal goes on to report, the Crypto-Casino Duelbits has offered the Streamer Adin Ross around two million USD per month to stream on this Online Casino. The Streamer seems to have refused the offer.
Which Casino-Streamers play on Stake.com?
The fact that the number of Casino-Streamers who play on Stake.com has recently seen a rapid increase is quite striking. But which Streamers are currently playing on Stake.com or did so in the past?
Roshtein
The Swedish Gamer-Legend Ishmael Schwartz, with the nom de plume “Roshtein” has currently more than 790,000 followers (September 2021) on Twitch. The experienced casino-streamer has been playing on the online casino of Stake.com for some time - and it seems that he is happy. Meanwhile in August 2021, Roshtein was banned from Twitch for a short while.
TrainwrecksTV
The streamer TrainwrecksTV had originally begun his career with shooters such as Call of Duty. Meanwhile he has turned his focus solely to Casino-Streams and also plays on Stake.com. TrainwrecksTV prefers Bonus-Hunts, of which there are enough on Stake.com. Meanwhile the entertainer who was born in 1990 in the USA is now living in Canada. He currently has over 1.6 followers on Twitch.
MontanaBlack
In the meantime the successful Twitch-Streamer MontanaBlack has announced that he will stop making Casino-Streams. We had recently reported rumours which said that, MontanaBlack could be returning to the Casino-Streams. In the past he was often seen on Stake.com.
Conclusion
There are several reasons why Stake.com is so popular with Casino-Streamers. On one hand it is solely a Crypto-Casino, and thus one does not have to transfer real money. Instead all deposits and pay-outs are made solely in crypto currencies as Bitcoin, Dogecoin or Litecoin. On the other hand the management of Stake.com seems to be approaching Casino-Streamers and offering them lucrative collaborations. One can definitely notice the presence of Stake.com in the world of Casino-Streams. It will be interesting to see whether Casino-Streams will remain possible on Twitch in the future and how the streamers will adhere to the legal conditions in the individual countries.
