"Slot machine" in Las Vegas gives out real cars
In no other city in the world are there as many slot machines as in the desert metropole Las Vegas. Since some time there is here also an additional “slot machine“ of a special kind. The participants can win real cars in this huge slot machine. But how does this slot machine function and how popular is it?
Last summer we had already reported, that the glamorous Resorts World Las Vegas Casino had opened. As it has now been announced, a car dealer from Las Vegas has for some time been offering a gigantic “slot machine", which gives out real cars as winnings. To begin with it should be clarified, that this is not a real gambling game. Instead it is more of a marketing stunt to attract new customers to the car dealer. However we wanted to find out, how this gigantic “slot machine” functions and from which slot the winnings come out.
Eleven-storey glass tower with 39 cars
The car dealer from Las Vegas spared no costs or efforts to be able to give his customers an unforgettable experience. If a buyer wants to pick up his or her car, then he will receive a token coin from an employee. Then he inserts it - as is typical in a “normal” slot machine - in the slot and pulls a lever to start the game.
Later on the “jackpot” is triggered with every spin and the (previously bought) car is brought down with the lift to the place of issue. From here it is then handed to the customer. According to an own statement, the car dealer wants to give the customers a “unique experience, when they co me to pick up their car”. Besides this, it is no secret that a slot machine fits excellently to the gambling metropole Las Vegas. In a somewhat older article we had already replied to the question, which are the most gambling addicted US-states of the year.
More than 20 customers “play” at the machine daily
The car dealer is very pleased that the gigantic “slot machine” appeals to the customers. Meanwhile more than 20 customers receive their bought car daily through the “slot machine”. The car dealer also operates further branches in the United States, and the cars are stored there in gigantic glass boxes. However till now they can only be picked up through the slot machine in the locality of Las Vegas.
Conclusion
It is of course a funny idea to pick up one’s car from a gigantic “slot machine”. However it is just a marketing spin, because the “players” should here not be nervous at all, since they know from beforehand, that the “jackpot” will be cracked and that the car, which they had bought beforehand, will be handed over. We are excited to see if the concept will be adopted in other car dealerships in the gambling metropole Las Vegas in the future.
