We at GambleJoe have already reported on the Canadian online streamer xQc several times. In a recent podcast interview, the 29-year-old has now admitted that he has already lost a total of 100 million US dollars gambling. But how realistic is it for a single person to claim to have gambled away hundreds of millions in just a few years?

It is now two and a half years since we reported on GambleJoe that streamer xQc had wagered around 685 million US dollars on Stake. In Logan Paul's ‘IMPAULSIVE’ podcast, the 29-year-old has now admitted, after some hesitation, to having gambled away a total of around 100 million US dollars on gambling. On the one hand, it is of course questionable whether the world-famous streamer actually lost this three-digit million amount gambling. On the other hand, one can of course also ask who enabled the 29-year-old to place such bets in the first place.

Did Kick.com sponsor xQc?

It's an open secret that xQc has had repeated problems with his gambling behaviour over the past few years. Back in the summer of 2021, we asked ourselves whether the former Twitch star had a gambling problem. However, the fact that he has now admitted in a podcast that he has lost a total of 100 million US dollars on gambling over the course of his ‘career’ sheds a different light on the matter. According to current estimates, the 29-year-old's fortune is estimated at 50 million US dollars.

It was only last year that xQc announced that he would no longer be working with Twitch, but with competitor Kick.com instead. According to unconfirmed information, the long-term deal with the streaming platform Kick is expected to bring him income totalling 100 million US dollars. Kick has announced that no streamer will be reimbursed for gambling losses. However, thanks to the cooperation, xQc is likely to have received enough money to indirectly offset the gambling losses.

xQc currently has over 820,000 followers on Kick alone. He also has around 2.35 million subscribers on YouTube and 12 million followers on Twitch. In addition to online casinos, the 29-year-old also streams computer games such as Rocket League and was also known as an Overwatch player. xQc's real name is Felix Fengyel.

Just last summer, we reported on GambleJoe that xQc reveals how many Kick users are active in Stake Casino.

Conclusion

Whether xQc has actually gambled away 100 million US dollars in the course of his ‘career’ is of course impossible to verify. However, the fact is that the 29-year-old Canadian has been addicted to gambling for years and his gambling behaviour has been critical at several stages of his life. In April 2022 alone, the streamer lost 1.85 million US dollars gambling. Thanks to his current cooperation with Kick, however, the successful streamer should earn enough money again to be able to cope with further gambling losses.
