Greentube cooperates with PokerStars - Book of Ra available?

A few days ago, the Novomatic subsidiary Greentube announced during a press conference the cooperation with the Poker giant PokerStars. At first the market launch will be limited to the Italian market, and further markets will be added in the near future. Does this mean that users playing at PokerStars can soon access Book of Ra and Co.?

At the end of January of this year we had reported in an article about the competition between the two Poker giants GGPoker and PokerStars. Now it seems that PokerStars has taken the important step to make its own offer even more attractive. They have reached a new agreement with Greentube, a subsidiary company of the worldwide operating Novomatic plc. Since a couple of days popular online slots as Book of Ra™ or Dolphin’s Pearl™ have become accessible to users on the Italian platform of PokerStars.

Can PokerStars users from other countries also access Novomatic-Hits?

Currently only Italian players making use of PokerStars can access the popular Greentube-Hits. The popular slot machines Book of Ra™, Dolphin’s Pearl™ and Lucky Lady’s Charm™ are available. According to the recent press conference a market launch of the popular online slots is being planned in other European markets as Great Britain, Denmark, Spain, Greece and Rumania. Around a year ago, PokerStars announced that the stake mode will be deactivated with immediate effect.

Unfortunately the recently released press conference does not indicate when PokerStars platform users from other countries will be able to access the popular Novoline-Hits. In July 2021 we had reported that StarGames Casino has opened its doors once again for real money players. The Novoline-Hits which are in high demand can also be played here.

The Commercial Director at Greentube UK, David Bolas, spoke about the new cooperation with PokerStars as follows:

“This is our first market launch at PokerStars and it is exciting to be able to announce our debut with one of the largest names in the iGaming-world (…) I believe that this is only the beginning of a long partnership, which will be successful for both sides.”

We are excited to see how the cooperation between PokerStars and Greentube will evolve in the coming months and years. In April 2021 we had reported that during the financial year 2020 Novomatic had to absorb losses amounting to 263 million Euro.

Conclusion

A few days ago, Greentube announced in a press conference that it will be entering a cooperation with PokerStars. However, the popular slot machines from Greentube will at first only be available to Italian players. It is currently still not clear, when and if, players living in other countries will be able to access Book of Ra™, Dolphin’s Pearl™ and other popular online slots from Greentube.
