Glamorous Resorts World Las Vegas Casino has opened

The Las Vegas Strip has a new Casino- and Hotel-Resort: the glamorous Resorts World Las Vegas recently opened on the 24th.June . This is a highly modern casino with three affiliated hotels. Originally the Resorts should have opened years ago. The opening was postponed several times because of various rescheduling.

The Resorts World Las Vegas offers its guests not only more than 3,500 hotel rooms, but also a gigantic casino on an area of around 10,900 square metres. After many years of planning and building, the opening of the Resorts could now be appropriately celebrated, exactly at the time when the strict Corona measures are being relaxed. A few weeks ago we reported in an article, with the title “Back to normal“ - Gambling in Las Vegas about the impressive advances of the desert metropole in fighting the worldwide Corona pandemic.

Shortly before the opening, a fire broke out in the casino

Only a few days before the official opening, a fire broke out in the Resorts World Las Vegas Casino. According to media reports, in the evening of Saturday, the 19^th. June 2021, there was a fire in the stores of the garages. However, the fire was quickly brought under control by the local fire brigade, and thus there was not a great deal of damage. Luckily also no persons were injured.

The cause of the damage is not yet clear. Previously, the locals had reported a lot of smoke in the location of the new Resorts. It is being thought, that the persisting heat in Las Vegas was responsible for the cause of the fire in the new Resorts World. At times, the thermometer in the desert metropole reached more than 47 degrees Celsius at times. High tech Casino can open on time, despite incident

The Resorts World Las Vegas is the first new Casino- and Hotel-Resort to open on the Las Vegas Strip since 2010. More than ten years ago the Cosmopolitan had opened. Since then, there were no new large openings on the Las Vegas Strip. The Resorts World Las Vegas now makes up for it and exceeds all expectations: The visitors do not only have the opportunity to enjoy the gaming area of 10,900 square metres, but they can also check in in one of the three Hilton-Hotels.

Due to the technical advances, the casino guests can look forward to special Highlights. In the brand new Casino-Resort, cash payments are entirely redundant, because of the latest technical advances. The guests can for example pay with their smartphone on the whole Casino-Floor. Besides this, there are already rumours that the newly opened Resort, is already working with the Crypto-Stock Exchange, to be able to offer crypto currency payments, such as Bitcoin, in the future. In February of this year, we reported about the breakthrough of the crypto currency Bitcoin in Las Vegas. 

Megaproject had cost around 4,3 billion US-Dollar

The Genting Group, which is registered on the Stock Exchange and which is based in Malaysia is behind the Resorts World Las Vegas. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal the development and building costs of the impressive Casino-Resort amounted to around 4,3 billion US-Dollar. This makes the Resorts World Las Vegas the most expensive Resort to date which was ever built in the desert metropole.

Conclusion

A new gigantic casino-resort opens in the gambling metropole just in time for the end of many Corona-Restrictions. The Resorts World Las Vegas should have opened several years ago. The finalisation was however postponed several times. However a few days ago, the day had finally arrived: The 4,3 billion expensive mega project was finished and the glamorous Resorts World Las Vegas opened its doors.
