Evolution Gaming introduces new live game "Bac Bo"

A few days ago the popular software provider Evolution Gaming expanded its game portfolio with a brand new Live-Game. This game is called Bac Bo and is available immediately in many online casinos. We will explain, how the dice game works and whether it is worth a try one of these days.

As the renowned software provider Evolution Gaming announced in a recent press conference, the live game Bac Bo is available in many online casinos with immediate effect. The charming thing about the newly developed game is the fact that it is a simplified version of Baccarat. Therefore the game can be easily understood, even by inexperienced gambling enthusiasts. In September of last year we reported about Evolution Gaming which has launched the 2000 year-old game “Fan Tan”.

How does Bac Bo of Evolution Gaming function?

The newly released game is a combination of the popular casino games Baccarat and Sic Bo. In fact it is for this reason that the new live game is also called Bac Bo. The brand new game basically functions in a similar way as the traditional Baccarat. It has a decisive difference: Instead of the usual game cards, the Bac Bo makes use of four dice, which are found in a “Shaker”.

As soon as the “Shaker“ stops moving, the values of two dice are added in each case. The first pair are for the banker and the second pair is the result of the players. If the value of both “player-dice“ is higher, than the player wins the game round. If the value of the bank is higher, the bank wins accordingly.

Should both pairs show the same result, then the round ends as a tie. And here we come to another special feature of Bac Bo: If there is a tie, and the sum of both pairs of dice is either 2 or 12, then there is a pay-out of up to 88 to 1 - the so-called Jackpot.

Todd Haushalter, the current Chief Product Officer at Evolution Gaming, describes the new game as follows:

“Bac Bo is very similar to Baccarat, but it is a game which is very easily understood. When compared to Baccarat it is easier to follow the rules and the gameplay, since one has only to take the result of the number rolled on the dice.”

Where can Bac Bo be played?

The brand new live game Bac Bo is already available in all online casinos which have a live casino and are cooperating with Evolution Gaming. Unfortunately since the Gambling Treaty (GlüStV) came into force on the 1st. July 2021 German casinos are only and exclusively offering virtual slot machines. In December 2021 we reported that Pragmatic Play with “Sweet Bonanza Candyland“ had also offered a new live game.

Evolution Gaming: share price collapsed

In July 2021 we reported that Evolution Gaming is on the way to the fast track. At that point in time, the share price of the company was around 140 Euro. However a few months later, the share price of the software provider plummeted. In the meantime the value of a share was only worth around 90 Euro on the 6th. December 2021. The share price has now once again reached the value of around 104 Euro (as at February 2022).

Conclusion

The recently released live game Bac Bo will appeal to a large group of gamblers. This is simply because it functions in a very simple way. In this game the two casino classics Baccarat and Sic Bo are combined with each other. Only time can tell whether Bac Bo will be a success for Evolution Gaming.
