What happens in German arcades in one week
There is never a dull moment in German amusement arcades. If you take a look at the local press, you will be confronted with robberies, break-ins and rowdy customers on an almost daily basis. In today's article, we have summarized in a nutshell what can happen in amusement arcades in a single week.
We at GambleJoe regularly report on incidents in German casinos. Just last June, we reported on a particularly spectacular case in which a casino robber managed to steal around 100,000 euros within 60 seconds. And although the new year is only around two weeks old, a lot has already happened in German casinos. In the following, we would therefore like to take a look at at least the most noteworthy current arcade news in January 2025.

Sunday, January 5, 2025: Man goes on the rampage with an axe in an amusement arcade
In Seeheim-Jugendheim (Darmstadt-Dieburg district), a 53-year-old man went on the rampage in an amusement arcade on Sunday evening. He first started by hitting various slot machines with his fists. It was only when the police arrived that the spook came to an end. The suspect, who according to the police was in a state of mental distress, was taken to a psychiatric facility. Due to the weather, a 50-year-old truck driver in Seesen (Goslar district) lost control of his vehicle and crashed into the wall of an amusement arcade. According to the police, the traffic accident caused damage to property amounting to at least 5,000 euros. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. On the night of January 10/11, 2025, two unknown men robbed a 23-year-old arcade employee in Borken, North Hesse.
