Officially, this is due to the State Treaty on Gambling. A bit strange during the European Championships.
What has changed overnight? Does anyone know?
I assume - without knowing it - that Oddset doesn't have a LUGAS connection at the point of sale to check the limits.
It's just easier to check the players online.
Excerpt from the State Treaty on Gambling:
§ Section 13b (Fn 4)
Transitional regulation for betting brokerage in sales outlets
(1) Until 30 June 2024, sports bets organized by the organizer pursuant to Section 3 (1) or a legal entity in which only persons within the meaning of Section 10 (2) of the Interstate Gambling Treaty 2021 are involved may be brokered in the ancillary business in retail outlets pursuant to Section 5 on the basis of a special permit. The brokerage of result bets during the ongoing sporting event and the brokerage of event bets are not permitted in retail outlets in accordance with Section 29 (6) of the Interstate Gambling Treaty 2021.
(2) The license pursuant to paragraph 1 sentence 1 may only be granted if a license pursuant to Section 5 is available. The permit shall be granted for a limited period of time, at the latest until June 30, 2024, and shall expire if the permit pursuant to Section 5 is revoked or expires. The regulations on the operation of betting outlets in the license pursuant to Section 5 apply accordingly, including the increased requirements for the protection of players and minors in the brokerage of sports betting. The external design, furnishings and operation of the sales outlet may not be altered by the nature and overall appearance of the sports betting brokerage. In particular, no monitors may be installed with the help of which betting events can be followed or seating or standing areas created that invite people to linger in the sales outlet for longer periods of time. The installation of betting terminals is prohibited. Gaming preparation terminals are permitted if they can only be used to pre-fill betting slips.

I have a high 4-digit limit with 2 sports betting providers. Now I wanted to Deposit with a Provider where I have only deposited 400 euros. The system says I only have 600 left. The LUGAS limit is also set to the high limit. I have not set anything lower anywhere else.

How can that be?
I don't think anyone here in the forum who doesn't know your data can answer that.
Either the higher limit is (technically) not accepted, so you are still at the standard limit of 1000 EUR.
Or it is a mistake.
Why don't you write to the provider's support team and the GUTS so that they can check the limit you entered.

I am with Bet365 and have never played there before. Now it says in my account that I have no Deposit limit etc. (no daily/weekly or monthly limit). (No daily/weekly or monthly limit)
Do I have to do this before depositing? I have a few other providers with different limits. Don't know if I can deposit more than 1000 euros?

With the sums you play with, I think it would make sense to first set €1000 with each Provider, then you can always have it increased and then increase it to the new amount with all of them, otherwise you will always get confused as to which limit is which now

Why? Do I absolutely have to set a limit? I once logged in to Betano and it says a limit of 10,000 euros. It says player ID XXX and LUGAS player ID: betano numbers
Now I thought that I can also dispose of the 10K at Betano. If I log in to Neobet, for example, I have a maximum Deposit limit/monthly limit of 5000 euros.
Why isn't there a limit database where you can enter: 10,000 euros you want to be able to gamble per month. And this is then entered "live" after the depositor and deducted accordingly.
I have 3 providers with 3 different. Limits. To be honest, I don't know which limit applies at Bet365. Is it 1000 euros or is it the smallest limit of 5000 that I have with Neobet? Do I have to set anything else or not?
The providers inform the GGL of the various limits, but then the whole thing has to work!
With my 3 providers it always says: deposit limit 10,000 / loss max 10,000 or deposit limit 5000 / loss 5000. Quite simply. The limit I have with the providers should also be the loss limit (practically up to total loss)
