We have successfully survived the first round. Since I don't know how much our total capital is now (quota will have dropped 100%), I estimate our total capital at 46-47€.
Andre will then probably post the interim result. Regardless of how high our total capital will be, we have to think about what we will do for the second half of the season. By that I don't mean the bet per se, but rather the bet. There are several options for this:
1. Option: we go all-in and try to maximize our profit. Only after the second half of the season will we decide whether we want to continue playing or stop.
2. Option: we only bet half the budget so that we still have something in the worst-case scenario. We will also decide after the second half of the season whether we want to continue playing or stop.
I'm giving us until 6pm on Sunday to do this. You can vote for either option 1 or option 2.
Since our game isn't until Wednesday, we'll have a little more time to agree on the bet. I have decided that we will wait until the weekend (to see if someone gets injured or not). Kevin De Bruyne was supposed to play, but he felt bad before the game (and also threw up). You can read more about it here CL: De Bruyne not in the starting eleven for Manchester City - kicker. We can't predict things like that and if we wait until 20:30, we'll have to expect the odds to drop.
The following therefore applies to the second leg between City and Real:
On Monday and Tuesday we can take our time and decide on a bet. The vote will then be on Wednesday. We can decide the time together. As some people might be working, after 4pm might make sense. So please let me know when you would be free.

so I'm back in touch 3 out of 5 group members have already decided and have chosen option 1 - all in.
Missing mine and needle34's vote, but we are democratic and the majority wins. 3/5 is the majority, so the remaining two opinions are irrelevant.
So it's decided: we will go all in
You can now take your time to think about what you want to propose. If that's okay with you, I would do the same as yesterday. We'll all submit our suggestions by Wednesday (April 17, 2024) (here in the thread please). I will always give a like on your suggestions. That way you can make sure I've noted them down. We have already voted on the bet, so you don't have to mention it. I will then collect all suggestions on Wednesday (or whenever we have collected them) and summarize the current odds in a new post. We will then have the whole Wednesday (until 20:30 at the latest) to decide on a suggestion.
If you have any questions or other concerns, feel free to write to me in the Communicator.
Until then, have a nice day

Budget: 48,35 Euro
Our 2nd game (second leg) will take place on Wednesday 17.04.24, at 9 pm.
FC Bayern Munich - Arsenal London
Current base odds are currently with Betano:
Home win: 2.57 Draw: 3.55 Away win: 2.65
My first intention after the first leg was quite clear to me.
Everything on Bet-Builder: Both score and over 2.5 goals total.
I think and hope that the second leg won't be any different to the first leg.
Both teams have the quality and the urge to score goals.
Unfortunately, there are no further odds for the game yet, so it remains to be seen what my suggestion in the Bet Builder would bring in terms of odds.
But a 2...should certainly be possible.
If we can double our balance, everyone would get about a tenner and everyone would then have to decide for themselves whether to continue or not.
But maybe this question won't arise after the second leg
As I said, that was a first impulse, we still have enough time.
Feel free to make your suggestions in the next few days, I'm sure we'll come to a common denominator again.

I'm clearly in favor of Bayern All In, but of course I'm also fine with everything else. I'm looking forward to the other opinions
Group D, I would bet 16,80€ again on Barcelona to win at odds (currently) 2,20
Barcelona are at home in the Champions League, another league in the knockouts, the league is over and everyone is hoping for a win in the Champions League!
Of course, I'm open to any other idea.
Group C what is your tendency, will bvb win the thing at home?
I think bvb will do it.
I don't have a reason, I don't watch soccer but I'm an undercover expert, you must have already noticed 😂😅

The second leg isn't easy either. But Dortmund now have the home advantage. Really difficult to predict again. Atletico now only 1.45 to progress. Dortmund go into the game as slight favorites but are clear underdogs to progress. I don't quite understand. 1:0 is enough for extra time.

Mhh will be difficult, but doable for us 🤨
I'd say both will score and bvb's first-half goal will certainly be a good Q
Full bet and hope for the best 😁

I've had a look at the odds (Betano). They are rather poor..
Both score and ü 2.5 just doubles the bet... if you also bet on City you get 3.05 odds.
My favorite at the moment is "both score and over 3.5" for 2.78 odds..

I don't think the odds of progressing have been so great so far that we need to say we're committed to one team at the moment.
So far I don't think you can go wrong with both scoring over 2.5 goals like in the first leg but there is still some time.
I played around a bit in the bet-builder
If we can make a small side bet with 5 euros or 10 euros
1/X hz/final result and both score
would be with a 10
120 extra for the cash register.
I could well imagine Bayern leading at half-time at home and then it going to extra time with a draw at the end.
But that's just a thought experiment and I wouldn't take it as a main bet. Even with 5 on it, that would still be an additional 60 euros. Even with 2-3 euros, that would still be a bit of extra money with little bet if you score.
