Hello BinGOLDiG,
We read everything diligently, don't worry about it
But to be honest, it's just a bit more stressful for us at Christmas time and we try to organize it so that everyone in the team can relax for a few days, so that most of the time we're not really full internally either.
Hence the info box above the forum.
So please don't hold it against us if we don't join in with every suggestion or post.
On the subject of the advent calendar or the random generator or whatever, I'm currently in a situation myself where I just don't know what to say about it anymore, I have the feeling that we have the same discussion about it over and over again every year and to be honest, I find it a bit exhausting to discuss it at the moment.
As I said, you are very welcome to bring in your suggestions here, we will of course read them and will certainly talk about them internally next year as soon as we are full again, you are also welcome to play with the idea of taking a vote next year to design the next Advent calendar differently, but don't hold it against us if we don't currently react to every suggestion directly in the forum.
No nonsense, we don't take offense at all! I fully understand your situation and would also understand if you didn't have time to read the forum!

It's actually quite simple. Some people are unhappy that they didn't get any money as a gift. After all, GJ Coins are nothing else. One person gets 30-50 euros (Advent calendar) and another gets nothing. It frustrates some people to see that one person gets money and you don't. Personally, I have never made a secret of the fact that my activity certainly has something to do with the fact that there is the possibility of getting money here. Something that I have already been accused of by one or two people here. However, I have never complained if I have not been drawn for 2-3 months in a monthly prize draw. I find it interesting to see how many people are dependent on the 10-20 euros from the lottery. Which also shows me that a lot of people are here for the money, even though they say they're only here because it's so great. I see that as very hypocritical. But ultimately it's just my opinion (thanks to freedom of speech . There is only one solution to the whole thing so that everyone is happy and gets a few euros. No more lotteries and then simply distribute the money evenly to all active users. Then you get 1-2 euros a month and that's it. I wonder how long it will take until the first users want it the way it is now. I'm happy with the way it is. This year I've had a bit more luck with the Advent calendar than the last few years. Next year it may be different again, but the fact that you have to register for it every day is a great idea. This way, only users who are active are rewarded.
Thank you GJ (the whole team) you are doing a great job and the advent calendar is perfect as it is.

Since you can't seem to leave the topic alone...
Thank you for your personal opinion.
But that's all it is.
Maybe you should just try to accept that there are other opinions than yours.
Chewi has only made a suggestion as to how things could perhaps be a little fairer in the Advent calendar from next year.
No more and no less.
Attacking him personally for this and wanting to have a vote on "deleting such posts" does not, in my opinion, serve freedom of opinion. Neither here in the forum nor out there in the rl.
Defaming people here now and claiming that they are dependent on the money is simply embarrassing.
We all understand your point of view. But there will always be other opinions than yours!
- Unnecessary provocation removed --
With this in mind, once again.... Merry Christmas.
...and peace

You write too much without having a clue. The issue with the calendar is the same year after year. Others have also noted that it's annoying. Where was your comment?
As far as the topic of money is concerned, it also shows that you write without having a clue. Because that's exactly what I've been accused of, not so long ago, that I'm only here because of money. Always a kind of final argument when you don't know what to do here. Also the question, "Where was your comment then?"
That Tourette's line is what I mean, by the way. Things like that are not opinions.
Btw. if you want to judge or rate my post, then please rate everything. Not just what you don't like. Because I have provided a solution.

You sorry Patizi...
I (still) have a social life away from gj.
I have to go to the table.
No problem. There are still a few days left this year. Can you explain to me in the chat corner what the Tourette's is all about and what freedom of speech is all about, which you supposedly don't have.

Merry Christmas everyone and have a relaxing time
Thank you I was also drawn for the second time today. Today and Santa Claus.

Unnecessary provocations / insults have no place here in this thread or in the forum as a whole.
Please get back to the topic, otherwise we will unfortunately have to intervene in the event of further private hostility or provocation.
Merry Christmas.
