My "problem" is that langhans or gamble are very active users here and are now being turned into mods!

Means that I already "read over" almost every post from them because it is too much for me or became too much for lack of interest to put it moderately!

If they play mods now, I will read even more of them so that it becomes a Langhans gamble1 forum!

It's different with Saphira or Andre, of course they also write here, but to a normal extent and it doesn't matter if they do their mod activities!

I understand, but a forum is for communication and the one has nothing to do with the other, they are supposed to approve posts, delete spam etc

Just because gamble1 likes to write doesn't make it a gamble1 forum 🤣 that's a bit exaggerated

He's already doing it like the other 3

It's not unusual for active users to become mods. They have the most credit and also props. It was different here and you want to try it out. After all, it's a test phase and the 4 certainly deserve the chance. I think it's good that GJ has the confidence to do this and is putting their trust in us.

Users will have to pay more attention in the future, but it certainly won't become a Langhans/Gamble1 forum.

I also don't think it's objective to exclude someone as a mod just because this person is more active, shares their opinion everywhere, gives tips, etc. As long as they don't slip into OT, I see no reason to criticize this behavior. On the contrary, they can relieve Julian at the moment and he can take care of the other activities.

Well, if it's based on activity, you should actually be a mod 😂 I think you've made the most and longest posts this year.

Aaaaaahhh Frapi please don't, I appreciate you but your comment was exactly what was missing here!

When I wrote my comment I wanted to ask Betano if I can place a bet that Frapi will answer within a few hours! !!
Unfortunately it was rejected!
At least your comment was under 2000 characters!

Joking aside, I understand your request for equal opportunities, but I was just expressing my concerns, and anyone who knows me here knows that I don't mince my words!

I think it makes a huge difference if I read the name langhans or gamble in 11 threads and now because of their conscientious activity now in 19 threads !

Activity is one criterion. I'm sure there are other criteria that the others have fulfilled better. I know myself that my grammar is sometimes not 10/10. There are certainly other criteria that are important for this position. But what I can say about myself is that I am very trustworthy.

But to stay on-topic: I wouldn't have had the time or the head for it at the moment anyway. Something has happened to me privately that requires me to invest a lot of time. I don't want to disclose what exactly for private reasons.

that would be too exhausting for me - soccer, slots, household and setting 1000 stones on the side

you have to be allowed to tilt once in a while, otherwise you'll get Kreutzfeld-Jakob

Too bad, what was the quota?

All good, I understand your criticism and concerns, but currently Julian is simply alone and I think this "temporary" solution is really good. You have to keep in mind that there is not only the forum, but also other activities to be done. Julian can't split up either. You also noticed that there was a lot of OT talk in some threads or that some users, including me, were at each other's throats. The fact that several people are now able to mediate and keep an eye on things is only good for the forum.

The fact that some names may be read more often is also new, but you have to get used to it. I don't mind reading the same user name in 19 threads, unless you are spamming because you want to reach 100 posts or qualify for the monthly prize draw.

Blubbo, I don't know what your problems are, but maybe you should work on your dissatisfaction and not always take it out on others. You are extremely toxic. Even towards me quite often, so much so that I've already been written to privately about the problem you have with me. So others are already noticing that you are very toxic. How about opening your own forum then you can organize everything the way you want it and don't have to worry about Hans and gamble spamming everything or a Patizi taking over the sports betting area.

So I think they picked exactly the right people for it & I think the idea in general is very good. I'm sure the four of them will do a great job... except for Andre I have some concerns
great thing...

The odds were 1.03...as the betting tax would have been higher than the win, so Betano decided against it... 😉😄

The more active the new moderator was and is, the more he looks in here. This shows that these users have the time to take on the position.

I found August very toxic, which is why I think this interim solution is totally good!

You're used to Blubbo having a harsh tone. As long as he doesn't insult anyone and sticks to netiquette, I have nothing against his harsh tone. But that's just my personal opinion, others may be irritated or disturbed by it. As I said, I don't feel disturbed by it.
