Hi all,
wanted to ask since when you crop the images? Because on them is now mostly the URL gone
I remember a video where Matthias said he had to delete it because the browser URL was not to see.
Am a bit puzzled - because so you can not see the casino and also not whether it is real money...
i would like to answer your question in as much detail as possible, while also being specific.
We have looked at the usage statistics of GambleJoe over months and found that over 70% of all users use our casino portal with a smartphone.
Accordingly, we thought about how to make the entire website perfectly responsive and increase usability.
Here's what happens with the winning pictures
If browser bars, frames or other superfluous elements would still have to be displayed around the game field, the winning picture becomes so small that you usually can't recognize anything on your smartphone. It was/is important to us that the stake, the win and as many details as possible from the playing field are displayed.
Many images are also uploaded in a non-web-suitable format or upright, so we even have to rotate the images into the right position first.
Internally it works like this
As soon as a new picture is uploaded, it is checked by Christoph, Daniel or me, to see if there are indications that it is a winning picture. There are many indications for this: e.g. "demo mode" or no currency symbol, the URL or also hints like "play with real money now"
We check each image by hand, then crop it to make sure it fits well, and then it is compensated in the form of points.
As soon as someone uploads a play money picture and we really should overlook it, the points will be credited. If we delete the picture, the points will be deducted from the user again.
All in all, we take our control task very seriously and therefore you can be very sure that more than 95% of all pictures were created with real money.
Of course, you can't always be sure, but GambleJoe is an open portal where users generate content.... We do our best to keep the quality high.
Directly for Aka: The video which I had to delete at that time was definitely not related to the missing browser URL, but most likely to the missing game stake and probably there was no currency to be recognized.

Joh habs times nachlesen - had listed all points. I just thought that all points must be fulfilled. Well, in principle it does not matter â€" but it is good to know that you really look in there 😉
