i have been working as a news editor for GambleJoe for over four years. From the very beginning, I have tried to create articles that are as varied as possible and that could be of interest to as many users as possible.
Now I'd like to know if you have any suggestions for me regarding the selection of topics and the presentation of the news. Are you bored with certain topics? Are you missing something? Of course, I am aware that not every article will be well received by every reader, but you can certainly recognize a certain tendency! After publishing over 800 gambling news articles on GambleJoe, I would be delighted to receive honest feedback from as many of you as possible.
For example, what do you think of these topic categories?
- Current gambling news (robberies etc.)
- Current court rulings from the gambling sector
- Gambling news from abroad
- Casino streams or comparable offers (e.g. slot academy etc.)
- Innovations in German Online Casinos (new slots, features, Bonuses, etc.)
- Casino sessions such as the Betano game report
- Self-tests such as buying 30 Scratch cards
I look forward to your feedback and am always open to suggestions for completely different topics.

oha already 4 years how time flies
that's my opinion on the whole thing:
i don't always read the articles but every now and then when there's something interesting in them...
but i have to say that articles about streamers should not be given a stage here, because there was only one article here that a Streamer gambled away so and so many millions of euros...... or won, i don't know anymore......
because in my opinion everything is fake and propaganda should not be given a stage....
whether it's Roshtein, Trainwerker, ect... like all the big ones are called, gambling away millions in a few minutes with bonus bys or something else, every normal thinking person should know that this is not possible....
someone once wrote here that if you do the math, the biggest actors in the world wouldn't be able to gamble like that because they don't have the money
so some no-names who have become big with kick or twitch and have max. 5000 to 20,000 viewers can afford more than a will smith? so please think about it
but i'll say that most people realize that streamer slotting doesn't have much to do with reality
conclusion:
please no more streamer articles, because in my opinion this has no place here in the forum, it's just entertainment and has nothing to do with reality, and you can't take it seriously when millions are won or gambled away
If you get to the point more quickly, it's good, don't drag everything out like that
I'm definitely interested in where a hall has just been hacked or where there are fake machines, I always find that exciting, what I'm not interested in are streamers like the ones mentioned above, I don't watch them and I don't read about them either
Apart from that, I found the lottery report good and interesting, anything with numbers and statistics is always nice to know
i always find your articles very good, and i read through every single one. your selection is also ok, but you don't need to write anything about streamers, that doesn't really interest me either.

And it's always been the case that every Streamer article has been received negatively by the community. Even back when Christoph was still writing articles here, every article about streamers was a no-go for the community. However, back then most of the comments were found under just such articles, which must mean that although they were very unpopular, they were still read by a lot of people
I've written it under your articles before and I really mean it as objective criticism.
1. Your articles are often very empty. You beat around the bush and end up with no useful information at all.
2. As has already been mentioned here, you don't get to the point. First you dance around the topic in the introduction and then in the first paragraph you simply repeat the introduction with different words.
3. A lot of articles have incorrect information, which I notice especially when you write articles about live casinos or online Poker etc. You write things that are not true. You write things that don't exist or aren't true, but present them as fact. I could give you a few examples of this, and I've often written them under the articles. I would expect a gambling portal to provide really accurate information and not half-truths or even outright false information.
4. And following on from point 3, it's noticeable that you often just accept press reports without reflection and/or do poor research. Example: In a Live Casino, an employee from the tax office monitors the gaming tables every day (which is completely false). Or: (roughly analogous) AI can give you an advantage in roulette. Which is mathematically impossible.

I noticed that too. Here xQc in the podcast: I lost $100m for example, it is suggested that xQc could have lost $100m. In other words, his own money, which is certainly not the case. Someone who loses 100 million from their own pocket will certainly not be able to "put it away" so easily and continue gambling. We're not talking about USD 10,000 or anything like that, but still about USD 100 million, which can still let you live carefree these days. You don't need to show any proof or anything else. He doesn't come from a super rich family either.
If his net worth was 500 million, then you might be able to guess, but his current net worth is 50 million - because he also signed a 70/100 million deal with kick in 2023.
A layman reading this text will probably wonder how a 20-30 year old could get so much capital and will have more question marks in his head than at the beginning of the text.
@Falke: As you know, we don't always agree. Of course, mistakes can happen to me too, and of course information in the articles can occasionally be wrong. But of course I try to avoid this with good research. However, I am happy to accept your criticism of the duplication (intro and first paragraph), as I sometimes notice this myself. I'll definitely try to work on that. I'm also working on filling the news with even more content But apart from that, what do you think about the topics covered here? Do you have any specific suggestions for improvement or "preferences"?
@Falko: I have exactly the same impression! Nobody wants to read anything from casino streamers, but when something is written, it ends up being read and sometimes generates heated discussions.
@R3hab: Great, I'll gladly take that on board and try to remember that in the future!
Of course I'm still open to feedback (especially on topics that are of interest to you!)
I would always like to read casino sessions and self-experiments. So far, the news articles have mostly passed me by because I somehow didn't get around to reading them carefully. Which is why I can't say much more about it.

Very good thought. Christoph tested a lot of slots himself back then and wrote articles about them with videos of his casino sessions. These articles were very popular with the community at the time. If Christian also plays slots from time to time and doesn't run the Risk of falling into an addiction spiral by testing slots, he could also think about such articles to see if that would be something for him. This is also very useful for many forums if they get to know one or two slots better that they have never seen or played before.

i also think it's a very good idea falko, I've always enjoyed following these slots tests and have occasionally become aware of one or two slots that I didn't know about or hadn't even noticed,
