I had sausage from the Air Fryer or whatever they're called for the first time today. It was really great, almost like from the grill.

I like to fry in a pan or a large Pot, but this is an alternative.

i've only been doing it this way lately, it's just as good as in the pan. just not as greasy, and you avoid all the splashing around.

How does it work like a microwave, where you don't have to do anything except set the time? I don't know Air Fryer.

Nowadays you're almost a leper if you don't own an Airfryer. I've also been thinking about getting one, but I'm still undecided. Most people who have one don't want to do without it. But I don't want to put just any machine in my kitchen that I might then use far too rarely. Let's see ...

that's how it is falko, you just have to set the temperature and time and that's it. it basically works like an oven.

If you take Jjepsa96's bratwurst today, which he didn't have to prepare in a pan with turning back and forth and instead prepared it effortlessly in such an Airfreyer and which tasted just as wonderful there, it's definitely worth considering getting one of these. Can you also use the Airfreyer to make crispy fries? I was planning to buy a deep fryer because fries don't get nice and crispy in the oven and then I would skip the deep fryer and buy the Airfreyer instead.

so i would rather prepare fries in the deep fryer, they don't get crispy enough for me (personally) in the HLF. but you can do a thousand other things in it, chicken thighs, or whole chickens, or steaks, for example, are very good in it, so in principle you can do everything in it that you would otherwise prepare in the oven.

So I can only recommend it, even chips turned out very well in there for my taste. Schnitzel, fish sticks, nuggets, even bread rolls. All very good.

All without extra vegetable fat as with normal deep fryers... although I used to be a fan of that too. But the Air Fryer is a really great addition, especially because of the fast food mentioned. I hardly ever go to a chip shop or similar anymore, you can make everything from meat to potatoes and wedges at home and it's much cheaper.

Gypsy schnitzel, chips and mayo are easily €15-20 these days if you eat out, there are still exceptions, but everything has become very expensive.
