What's curious is that she was actually rather the delicate little person for years. Super petite. Suddenly she got really fat. Within a few weeks. And now she wants to get rid of it with brute force. But she also conjures up the most beautiful baked goods on the side and sells them at festivals. Apparently, she has now eaten too many of them herself. I've also heard of this "magic syringe". I would be rather careful.

But it's also extremely bad that there's so much that tastes extremely good and so much of it is extremely sugary. I went shopping at Edeka today, leafed through the brochure beforehand as usual and then I saw that all the really big Milka chocolate bars in all possible varieties were on offer for just 2.22 euros each. And I just like them so much that I'm going to pick some up again today. What would your reaction be if such a delicious bar was lying on your living room table in the evening? My problem is that I don't just eat 1 or 2 bars, I always eat the whole bar. It would be better for me if there were only the 100 g bars on offer and not the huge 300 g bars from Milka.

I like chocolate, even Milka chocolate, but I could never eat a whole bar in one sitting. By that I mean the small bar. It would probably take me over a week to eat a big one, if I actually had an appetite for it every day. Luckily, I'm not tempted at all. The last time I ate chocolate was maybe 4 months ago, but that was chocolate crossies. So I wouldn't have any problems if a big bar like that suddenly appeared in front of me. I would probably give it away or put it in the cupboard and forget about it. But I can understand if you can't get past such things. Maybe you'll manage to organize them for yourself

The world is full of temptations. You don't have to give it up completely, but learn to limit yourself. That's the art. It's difficult and not everyone can do it straight away. For me, it also took a wake-up call before I had this motivation.

What I can recommend to you is not to eat the chocolate quickly, but to enjoy it slowly and simply. Don't chew the chocolate, but let it move around in your mouth. After 1-2 pieces you will hardly feel like eating any more. I learned this trick from a documentary about a rest stop owner who used to be a Weight Watcher (Trucker: Rolly und ihre Raststätte | Typisch! | NDR Doku). I like chocolate myself, but I eat it very rarely. I generally eat very few sweet things. For me, the problem was cola and fast food. I liked to consume them. I don't think it matters, it's all food. I can get to McD/KFC/BK within 10-15 minutes. Nevertheless, I haven't eaten anything from them for 3 months and I currently prefer a kebab plate to the products of these 3 fast food chains.

You can also divide the bar by 3 and then only eat one. I can't tell you what works best for you, you just have to try and find out. I didn't start with intermittent fasting straight away either, but changed my diet first. If I had had problems with the 8-16 method, I would have tried a different method. It's currently working so well for me that I even fasted for almost 20 hours yesterday.

If the syringe were freely available and not subject to prescription, I would have tried it myself to see if it really does what you've heard about it. It is supposed to ensure that you can continue to eat normally, but no longer manage to eat the portions that you usually do. This might make your colleague suffer less on her radical diet.

The problem is, as with almost all diets, you still have to change your diet permanently and possibly also your lifestyle (sport, exercise) if you want to maintain your weight.

Or just don't stop injecting, which I don't think is a good option.
I heard a report on the radio yesterday about the "memory" of fat cells.
For those who are interested:

https://www.dw.com/de/warum-das-ged%C3%A4chtnis-der-fettzellen-abnehmen-erschwert/a-70859551

In addition to personal behavior after a diet, this is another reason why the yo-yo effect strikes so often.

I like to eat fast food and sweets myself, and I'm also the type of person who eats the whole bar like Falko.

If you want to make a fundamental change to your weight and health, then you have to realize what kind of crap the industry is selling you. Even supposed quality brands such as Milka or Lindt regularly fail tests because of mineral oil residues, flavors, pesticide residues...
You don't even need to start with fast food, you can go to McDonald's website and choose the Big Rösti, for example, and look at the list of ingredients... 😂
The meat from the discarded dairy cows is still the best part.

And I think there's also a big difference in how you consume your calories.
If, like gagapapamama, you do it with less industrially processed food, use produce from the garden and ideally high-quality meat, then of course you still eat a lot of calories in your portions, but you're certainly a lot healthier than if you eat the same calories at McDonalds...

So that's my theory, as I said I'm undisciplined myself... 😂

Today I'm having a baked apple from the oven with vanilla sauce. I was in the mood for it. I can't get past vanilla sauce, by the way. It's like the Milka at Falko's.

2 fresh rolls, half a ring of sausage and a plate of tomato and mozzarella - that's it for tonight. Maybe later after the soccer a home-made chocolate pudding.
