I've only just realized that I spent 6 hours working in the garden at Gagapapamama. Even installed a complete irrigation system. No wonder I've been too tired to look in here since then.

For lunch today we had an unspectacular but very tasty homemade potato soup with sausages. Served with a baguette.

Sauerkraut stew with minced beef and peppers...

For dinner, fresh lollo rosso from the garden, unfortunately too slimy......

Today we're having another one of my favorite meals.

Boiled potatoes with meat sausage, liver sausage and black pudding and a bowl of quark with lots of onions and fresh chives.

Today I was home alone, so I had to eat myself. I thought I'd go to Netto and get 2 American burgers, add a few tomatoes and onions and that's it. Cooked in the oven and then eaten. I have to say that was the last straw.

They didn't taste good at all and had such a nasty aftertaste from the weird sauce, I won't be getting anything like that again, I should have eaten a tin of ravioli and a pound of sausage with it would have been better.

I've also made the mistake with the burgers. Those things are disgusting. Once and never again 😂

It's not easy for me to eat in this weather, despite physical work and sweating a lot today, I can't get anything warm down 🤷🏻‍♂️
I will tuck into a few bananas 🍌

They didn't taste good at all, they had such a bad aftertaste from the weird sauce, I won't be getting any more of that kind of garbage, I should have eaten a tin of ravioli and a pound of sausage with it would have been better.

before I eat something like that, I buy a pack of patties (also available at Netto), get the buns and make myself some fresh burgers You don't even need an electric grill, you can do it on a frying pan. Toast the buns a little, fry the patties and you're done. You can choose your own sauce etc. It might have cost you an extra 15 minutes, but you get real burgers (at least better than the ones you got at the discount store)

Edit: Patties can be frozen and the buns can also be used as normal buns. They're even cooler because they're extremely soft. Not that it means that the quantity is too much
