The result was soggy toast...
Dear Pat,
in order to keep the forum organized, I would ask you to continue discussing this topic here:
Today I'm ordering a delicious lasagne from a good Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, with Lieferando - no matter where you order - you always get the same inedible mush. You can get lucky with pizza and not go far wrong, but it's really difficult with pasta. The lasagna comes with a nice lettuce salad.

In our small town, there isn't a single place that offers anything via Lieferando.
There used to be some. The fees charged by Lieferando are probably too high for the restaurants.
There used to be Lieferando Cashback days with 30 percent.

Do you use Lieferando cashback @ Saphira
Lieferando is one of the services I consciously avoid. I don't want to know how much pizza places etc have to pay to be part of the Lieferando universe. I guarantee it won't be a small amount.
Normally you can also order directly from the respective stores, just by phone. And if not, you just order elsewhere.
What's more, the same food is usually a bit more expensive at Lieferando.

So in our store we deduct 13% for every order that comes in via Lieferando, plus another 93 cents for every slip of paper that has to be printed out.
As far as the prices are concerned, they have to be the same prices as in the restaurant and you agree to this when you sign the contract.
Since I live near a center park that is almost 20% Dutch, we are unfortunately dependent on Lieferando because people all order online 🤷♂️

As a native Italian, I would highly recommend making it yourself. My mother's tastes 100 times better than any ready-made product and you can be sure that it is either a ready-made product or was freshly prepared but then frozen. Once frozen, a dish never tastes the same again - no matter how well you've prepared it.
What's more, you can then prepare it however you like With lots of béchamel and also try other varieties. I can really recommend spinach lasagne or pesto lasagne. You hardly ever get to eat them otherwise, because most people only have the classic lasagna al ragú on the menu.

Well, it was worth a try.
If you like this kind of thing and want to invest in a kitchen appliance, I recommend a contact grill. 👍
