That's cool. With me they just go through the shades towards red. Was I at the end of April probably once again too late with the sowing. Last year, the harvest started with me only in September and stretched to the end of October. Even then, the tomatoes were still very aromatic and a thousand times better than from the supermarket.
The cucumbers were good this year at the beginning, but then because of the three weeks of continuous heat susceptible to mildew, the real and the fake. Had to cut off a lot, but what grows back automatically has some strange infestation again.

Same with me with the cucumbers they are now finished but I have harvested any amount.

My neighbor pulled up 20 tomato plants this year. Every time I see him, he has to run to his kitchen and give me a bag of his precious goods. And I always get prickly cucumbers like that from him, too, super cool of him. The taste is just so much cooler than the taste of vegetables in the supermarket.

Are still many cucumbers at the start with me, but whether they still become what, remains to be seen. I am really a bit late. Today I have the tomato plants (this year "only" 11) new on and tied up. Grow like crazy since I treated them with a really great fertilizer. I get it from a small 1-man business in Germany and receive a few handwritten lines every time. Very nice lines, written with fountain pen, but probably hidden in them is a magic formula that makes everything grow.

The fruits you grow yourself really taste wonderful, no comparison to those from the supermarket. Always involves work, of course, but so far it's worth it.

That's right, spring was exactly 3.0 degrees too warm for you
Have fun in front of the fireplace, I'd like that too.

Yes, exactly. Hence the fireplace and fall clothes for most of May. 🤡
But I'm actually glad that it's still nice and cool.

March was very high in terms of deviations for you. May rather less so. Overall, therefore, a very warm spring
And yes...just...enjoy the fact that it's still cool. You know, soon it will start again and we'll both be moaning about the heat haha
