Off topic & small talk: New impressions from the Slotakademie

Hello dear people.

I've heard that this forum is very nice, so I thought I'd share my experiences here, very objectively.
Unfortunately, I haven't found much about the "Slotakademie" here. I wanted to give you a brief impression of the instructors (streamers) that I got after 3-4 weeks.

I would divide the so-called lecturers (I'm going to call them STREAMers because the word lecturer seems a bit silly to me in this case) into 2 categories.
Qualitatively super people and people who, in my opinion, are just sitting there and are sometimes not so great or even bad. By that I mean both the technology and the Streamer itself.

The best and most creative are definitely Lofty, Martin & Liz, Geronimo, Slotmaster and Slotguru.
These 5 are really fun to watch, they are all very creative (especially Liz and Martin) and can all talk very well and be funny sometimes. It never gets boring.

You can actually forget about everyone else...Either they don't have a cam, have poor sound quality or sit around bored and sometimes make new users really uncomfortable. You can also tell that most of them have never streamed before and just spend their time there, for whatever reason and for however much.
Slotakademiker is certainly one of the worst examples (streamers) for the academy. He has probably already attracted attention because he has a very toxic chat, and he is said to have made racist remarks once. But I couldn't find anything about it. The young man sits there for 10 hours wearing sunglasses and doesn't really talk much. I find that pretty disrespectful.
The worst thing is the drawing of the winning numbers videos. But again, it's so bad that it's funny again.
All in all, I think it's a good thing and I feel entertained by said good streamers. It's a great format.
That's just my opinion, of course.
On that note, I hope you all have a great Sunday and stay healthy. That's the most important thing

Hello and welcome,

since you've been at it for a few weeks now, have you learned a lot there? Can you spin better and faster now? And when are you taking your final exam to become an academic? Surely the exam will be held at the IHK?

Sorry for so many questions, because I'm still a beginner and have already thought about retraining at the academy.

Hello dear T0uchTheSky,

i have successfully completed the academy. I would be happy to tell you about it.

Registration is free and you receive a state-recognized certificate. I first did a Bachelor's degree and then a Master's degree.

The Bachelor's degree normally lasts 6 semesters. In the foundation course (the first 4 semesters) you are taught the basics. You have the following modules, among others:

1.0 Introduction to slot machines
1.1 Mathematics I
1.2 Computer Science I
1.3 Introduction to the OASIS blocking system
1.4 RTP
1.5 State Treaty on Gambling

These were the modules in the 1st semester. There are a few more subjects, but to list them all would probably be too much of a good thing.

There are a few specializations, I chose the specialization "pushing up a ladder". I was taught how to push the ladder up correctly.

It's recognized as a STEM course, also because you have to pass math and computer science. Mathematics is not easy, you get really difficult math problems and then have to work out whether you are in the plus or minus. Computer science wasn't easy either. Turning on PCs, registering with providers. Really high failure rates.

All in all, a clear recommendation from me. I feel prepared and think that this degree will give me very good chances on the job market.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me privately.

Through the academy I also learned that business administration is not called business administration, but BonusWagerLehre.
This is a common misconception among non-Bing bongers.

The Slot Academy is clearly undervalued. I mean that quite objectively.

Do they also teach supervised gaming?

So I would say that you are definitely in the wrong place to rate your streaming experience!
Here it's more about the casino itself or the slots!
We are not the passive ones who feel entertained by babble...at least not the majority!
That's probably why you couldn't find anything about it here!
But if you'd like to share your casino or slot experiences...keep them coming 😊

Yes, you can specialize in the Master's. It kind of makes sense that you complete your Bachelor's degree first.

I'm also currently thinking about doing a doctorate. I just have to find a lecturer who is nice enough to supervise me. With the Dr. title you have extremely good chances.

It sounded completely different back then when you were offered the prospect of a position as a "lecturer" - your words about the so-called academy were consistently positive at the time, but so be it 😉

I think we can already talk about the fact that jp and BingBong have used a loophole in the system that prohibits the actual "streaming".

You can argue about the quality, but it often seems as if people are just sitting there to entertain viewers with codes and keep them close to their gambling platform for as long as possible. I haven't yet found out what the eager player learns that you couldn't fit into a 5-sentence blurb, but I don't have the leisure to spend more time than necessary on such a "highly complex" topic as operating Deadspin machines with Rtp rates of less than 90% 🙂hey, but to each their own 🤟
