Today I have something special to share with you. I'm currently working on a project where I'd like to give you some insights and also need your help.
Gaming is a big part of life for some people, and for me in particular, video games have always been a part of my life from an early age. After much consideration, this ultimately led me to invest my time, together with a really small team, in the development of a game that should ultimately stand out from the crowd and bring fun and entertainment to many people in the long term.
My team is currently very small with a maximum of three people, which often means that you have to work your way into areas that you don't really master, but that you simply have to be able to do or learn, otherwise you could inevitably get to the point where nothing progresses. Unfortunately, if you look at the whole thing from a developer's perspective, you overlook many things that are very important for the gaming experience from a player's perspective - not to mention the things that don't even occur to you.
In short, I would like to share this with anyone who is interested. Of course, I'm also interested in getting feedback and realizing your ideas in the final product.
As for the actual game, it will be a horror game with realistic graphics. Everyone who is interested would get a game version and could play and test it. It is a single-player game only, which means that no data will be collected in any way, as would be the case with a multiplayer game. You can therefore test the game completely anonymously.
The development status is currently close to the first alpha version, which means you can test the basic mechanics, but it still looks very unfinished.
That's why I'll keep you up to date here and the actual tests will take place in a few weeks.
I would be delighted if anyone would like to support me in this project. And of course I also hope to provide at least some exciting insights into the development of a video game for all those who really don't feel like it.
With this in mind, please feel free to leave your feedback!

Of course we are happy to help you. But I won't take part without free Psc or Interwetten codes, haha 😂

I think it's really cool and interesting, but I hardly have any free minutes myself at the moment In any case, I wish you every success and will be following the process closely.

I only play console games, so I probably won't be able to test it (I don't have a PC apart from an older laptop).
But I think the project is mega.
Everyone who likes to play games will probably have their own ideas about what they would make better in a game, what they would implement or introduce in their own game, etc.

So good luck on the way to your own game.
Well, in principle you can of course always bring console versions in times of online playstores, it's much easier than a few years ago when you had to put everything on certain CDs
That's exactly my goal a game that captivates as many people as possible and brings fun of course you will never please everyone so this is self-explanatory but if there is something that makes every game to create then it is developers who give a shit about your players

Everyone starts small ne😉, sounds exciting in any case
If there is a gameplay video I would like to watch it
I bought a Steam Deck a few days ago and to be honest, I'm extremely excited!
Compared to the Nintendo Switch, the game selection is really huge, there's actually the option to install emulators, which means you could "theoretically" also play old PS2 / Gamecube / Gameboy classics (only a friend told me this, of course )
It's great fun at the moment, and I'm already prepared for the next long flight

How is that because there are supposed to be many games that are bad in terms of performance, have you noticed anything?
How is that because there should be many games that are bad from the performance have you already noticed something?
With every game that is available on Steam, you can check if it is compatible with the device before installing it on Steam Deck. And there are games that display a small "warning" based on the Steam Deck community ratings, but you can always read the reasons in detail. In most cases, it's just text that may be displayed a little too small in some parts of the game.
A warning, but I haven't read that the game has performance issues, at least not for the games in my library.
Of course, I also tried a few games out of interest to "test" the performance a little, for example GTA 5, but there were no real problems in the first few minutes. The fan is perhaps a little loud in some places, but to be honest that can happen with my Playstation 5, so under the circumstances of it being a handheld, the thing is really great.
But of course, with newer triple A games, you might want to think about at least adjusting the resolution or other graphics settings a little.
