Well, it's actually quite common for "us in the east". Either these wicker baskets, or I'm more used to these berry baskets made of wood shavings.

My uncle cleared half the forest and collected mushrooms that I would never touch. That was the post-war generation.
Nowadays I almost only collect boletes. You only have to watch out for the Satanic boletus, but you can still recognize it. But I've never found one to be honest.
I don't eat or pick mushrooms myself & if I did I would probably prefer to buy them...with all the horror news you hear every year...the poisonous ones are usually supposed to taste great & after a few hours you're fighting for your life...would be far too risky for me
i've been collecting mushrooms for over 40 years, and i only take the ones i've known since i was a child. i.e. porcini mushrooms, chestnuts, chanterelles, etc. so far there have never been any problems and of course with a nice wicker basket, which you could buy cheaply on the polish market years ago.
Yesterday in the Ntv News there was a report about food poisoning in 3 people due to the consumption of mushrooms. I think 2 people even had to have new liver transplants.

Just had a look. Maxcashout is 50 euros. Congratulations!
I used to go mushrooming with my grandpa every year, so I know a lot about the subject. Here in our region, we mainly foraged for hallimash, stick sponges, brown caps, chanterelles and birch mushrooms. They were then nicely fried in the evening with scrambled eggs.
A poem!
We only collected them in baskets because they get soggy in a bag or bucket!

Not to mention the super mushroom in Super Mario and the legendary music of the mushroom heads.
