I don't mind if the sex is in context. When I start a new series I prefer to have a bit of peace and quiet to get into it, so it will have to wait until next weekend.

Thanks for the tip. After watching the trailer, I thought it was some kind of American "dreamboat" and almost didn't start. Then yesterday I started the first season and now I'm in the middle of it. It's really good to watch.

I know this all too well, I used to miss out on good series because I only watched the first ten minutes. I watch at least the whole first episode to decide whether it's something for me.

The actors and actresses are consistently good, in all seasons, that's not a spoiler.
I really like Jennifer Coolidge, she represents American Pie for me like no other.
I also like the films as a woman, but I've just realized that I'm officially old

P:S: The series doesn't get any worse after the first episodes

American Pie somehow passed me by. I've now had a look to see what it's about. It probably wouldn't be for me at first glance, but if Jennifer Coolidge is in it, I'll consider catching up on it very belatedly. I like her too. She's wonderfully quirky and quite changeable. I think she won an Emmy and a Golden Globe Award for "The White Lotus".

Fortunately, I'm very patient, which is why I can struggle through initially tough series starts if they turn out to be really good afterwards.
