Started the new season last night, watched the first 5 episodes so far and think it's actually quite good so far.
I even think they've upped the ante a bit compared to the first season and increased the tension.
So I think if you liked the first season, you'll like the second one too
I also started yesterday and I have to say, they're really clever. Whenever it gets exciting, you switch to the next episode. I couldn't stop and have already finished 6 of them.
I'm really loving it so far! You think you know what's going to happen from the very first moment and then it turns out differently.
Last night I happened to see a clip from Game of Thrones on YouTube shorts again after a long time and somehow I felt like watching the whole series again from the beginning.
Maybe I'll also start the "new" series House of Dragons afterwards, as I hadn't started it yet.
So I guess I'll have to get a third streaming subscription for this month
are there still series junkies here (Netflix and co.)?

I already did that in December and watched all the episodes again. I don't like the new episodes of House of Dragons, I find them boring.

Yes, I've heard a lot of negative things about it in the past, so I have my doubts about it, but I at least want to give the series a chance
By the way, as a small addendum, I spent a whole 2 hours last night trying to find out where I can stream Game of Thrones online. At first I assumed that I could just get it via Prime Video, but it didn't work.
I then created several accounts with different streaming platforms, but my credit card was rejected everywhere because they apparently only allow customers from Germany or the USA.
I really got the crisis
So I did some research in a forum and found out that it's actually very difficult to watch the whole series from my location (at least legally).
I then found out about the option of simply buying the physical version like I used to, but the DVD box with all the content costs around 250€ in the stores.
I was a bit shocked that DVDs are still so expensive these days, but they probably have special boxes with bonus content or something.
I then thought about whether it was really worth it, but then came to the conclusion that it's better to spend the money on it than to go to the casino, so I'll treat myself to a little luxury and get the box set in the next few days
so i actually quite liked the episodes of house of dragon, i have to say. of course it doesn't quite come close to game of thrones, but i still think it's quite well done. it's just a matter of taste, everyone has to decide for themselves.

I bought all 8 seasons at a flea market about 2 years ago, but as a Blue Ray edition. He wanted €150 at the time, so I did a bit of bargaining and got it for €120.

I personally don't like it at all but it's just a matter of taste.
