For me, life changer means: a passive income (from €2000 net/month) without having to lift a finger. You can't do that with 450k. Half a million in start-up capital can get you off to a faster start, but nothing more. No matter where you want to start, you have to put money in first. These days, a good kiosk will cost you €100,000 in start-up capital. It's also understandable that a kiosk doesn't run by itself.
If I won half a million, I would see it as a small relief, but nothing more. I would feel more "relaxed" because I could continue to finance my life for possible scenarios (redundancy etc.).
With €450,000, you can buy a family home in need of renovation in my area if you're lucky, but by no means a renovated house. You can of course live in a house in need of renovation, but you can tell the difference. I live in a rented house. It was completely renovated 10 years ago. The house was insulated from the outside, among other things. Since then, I no longer have to heat the house in winter. Quite the opposite: I can even leave the windows open all day and then close them and it's warm again in an hour. I had to pay €50 in heating costs last year. That was definitely more in the past.
Now I don't know your living situation. Maybe you're alone and just need an apartment. The money would be enough for that, of course. But if you have a larger family, then you certainly wouldn't be interested in an apartment.
Finally, I can give you a piece of wisdom: never underestimate the naivety of humanity. Unfortunately, there are people who are either too naive or generally don't know how to handle money. This doesn't always have anything to do with stupidity.
You only count it all up in tobacconists and detached houses.
With 450 K you can easily build up a business with which you can generate 2k a month in passive income.
I don't quite believe that you would see half a million as a "small relief". Unless you already have millions, but then half a million wouldn't be a relief either.
Not everyone wants to use it to open a tobacconist or buy a house. Normal rent, maybe a lot of traveling, a little bit in shares and crypto and a little bit for passive income.
So yes, half a million is a life changer if you do it right, of course, and don't lose almost everything in one day like the TE.

Sure, you can EASY build up a business with it. I've already written that it's also possible with 70k. But you also have to work. That's the crux of the matter. Do you have any idea how many hours you work as a self-employed person? It's certainly not 20 hours a week ^^ It's almost like a full-time job. That's why I wrote that it's not a life changer for me.
Why should I lie? I'm just of the opinion that I wouldn't have a completely different life with 450k. You would continue to work as normal. If you don't, the money will be gone again in 20 years and you'll live in poverty in old age. Here I calculate with €2000 net to live on, multiplied by 12 equals €24,000/year. 24.000*20=480k.

Always these awesome threads. My problem is more that I've been getting flattened so often lately by the wagerer after a higher win that it's hardly funny.
The TE's post can also be interpreted to mean that you should keep playing after a big win because it could then become even bigger

I also once made a gambling mistake with the gammix group from the 20 freespins I received, which were not listed anywhere (therefore no maximum payout of 50 euros or so). I couldn't believe it either and after what felt like a hundred times in the chat which kept putting me off and after my documents were complete. After 3 weeks or so I was fed up and gambled everything away (even after a little argument with my girlfriend) well, it didn't even take me an hour. I feel so shitty when I tell you this but the casino that didn't answer emails and the chat that kept putting you off weren't entirely innocent either. and I'll tell you which casino it was, it's called Zinkra Casino! I then had my account deleted, which they did without much effort. Funnily enough, it went very quickly.... I'll tell you, it's a nasty place. I get angry just thinking about it. Well then, have a nice evening and cheer up, you only ended up with 70 cents... well, plus the 10000 you still have open. luckily that couldn't happen to me because I'm probably not creditworthy. Life goes on, thats life

I would always think that it was the girlfriend's fault...a bit more amore 2-3 days and the money might have been there but no, the old one has to argue
something like that has to happen to everyone more or less badly..some learn from it and for others such actions become normality...
no wonder that many casinos always take a long time with such sums...it can never be determined that there may be intent behind it...

I recently gambled away €34,000 at GG.bet...
Had reached 20K maxwin at Rhino Megaways.
Played a bit more and finished with 28.000€ in the plus.
When I requested my first withdrawal, the support told me I had to make several smaller requests instead of one big one.
So I always tried with 1k requests. These were rejected until I reached 400€ per request.
But even these 400€ took what felt like three days until they were processed. During this time, I gambled from time to time and ended up with €35,000
The payouts were only processed sporadically and very slowly, so I asked why this was the case...
I was told to try it out with a €250 request. These would go through faster checks...
Ok, so I made a €250 request. When I then received the first payouts at 2 am and 2 pm during the day. (I think there were 3 payouts the first time) I thought to myself "Cool, money is coming".
But then I realized that €35,000 for €250 requests is quite a lot of work.
So I was able to do this successfully with a program that records my mouse movements.
Unfortunately, with GG.bet the money is not deducted directly from your balance after a request but only when it is actually transferred. So I had several 250€ requests open but still 33k+ as balance.
I waited and hoped every day that all my requests would be accepted. Fiddlesticks. Every day I only got 2 payouts... one at night and one during the day...
And so the cycle began... I thought that I would be able to recoup the payouts I received every day and thus have a running system that would bring in money. The first few days went well...around 3k had already been paid out.
But then came the deep sobering fall. After a less than successful day, I wanted to try to recoup my losses and I found myself in a tunnel faster than I could look and my balance was quickly at zero.
If only I had been patient and satisfied with 2 payouts a day.

i always can't understand something like that,i would be totally happy if i knew that every day 2 payouts of 250€ each would arrive, and that for quite a while. of course it's annoying if you can't pay out more at once, but still,i would only log in there daily to make the payouts, and otherwise keep my hands off it. (for the very reason that you are tempted to keep playing high because of the very high bankroll) you can Deposit and play in another casino if you feel like gambling. for example, if I pay out something in a casino, then I don't know this casino anymore until the payout has arrived.

In hindsight, I would have done better that way. As the saying goes "hindsight is always wiser".
It went so far that the greed of wanting to recoup the loss caused my bets to rise to €50-100.
I don't want to experience this tunnel again. Uphill & downhill ride with complete loss of control.

Homosexuality is a whim of nature that keeps everything in balance! Even in the animal kingdom same-sex partnerships occur!
That was exactly my point. Homosexuality has not been a disease since 1990. The user mrtorero, said that homosexuality was a mental disorder (https://www.gamblejoe.com/forum/online-casinos/allgemeines/meine-geschichte-mit-riesen-gewinn-von-450000-euro-und-das-unglueck-was-folgte-379411/7/#p380082).
A little later, Dutch78 wondered since when homosexuality was considered a mental disorder. (https://www.gamblejoe.com/forum/online-casinos/allgemeines/meine-geschichte-mit-riesen-gewinn-von-450000-euro-und-das-unglueck-was-folgte-379411/7/#p380099).
I responded with this link. My point was that homosexuality was still classified as a mental disorder (illness) until 1990.
I hope you now understand the context a little better. In my opinion, it would have been self-explanatory if you had read through the thread.
