Hello from sources I have learned that state gambling halls are thinking about offering an online casino offer.
What do you think of this? would be great or?
If it were so, then all federal states should also be treated equally!!!
Not that Bavaria runs it and other citizens from other states are excluded. So what would be lousy!
But I would like it, so that it is no longer illegeal.

I doubt that there will be an online casino monopoly. Why, then, should the federal states be bothering right now with the new regulations for private providers?

If you live in Switzerland, you can only play in a handful of Online Casinos there and the rest of the online casinos are supposed to be blocked, that you can no longer access them from the country. At least that was already written a few times here in the forum so. If Germany would do so, then we would have exactly what the TE writes here. But since we are an EU country and Switzerland is not, I do not think that something like that would be feasible in our country.

Hi I misspoke, I also meant more with Table games like Roulette and blackjack.
After all, the new regulations prohibit private operators from offering it in the future.

Will the casinos also be represented "online" at some point, certainly
Since they are state institutions, they have of course slept through it so far
Due to the current situation (Corona), however, there is suddenly a lack of revenue in the coffers of the respective countries, so I am not surprised that this is apparently currently under discussion
However, the state and the countries then just have a massive problem - their own gambling contract
Germany has been admonished several times by the EU regarding their monopolies (casinos and lottery)
In addition, the new gambling treaty and the possible upcoming laws have been sold to the EU and the public under the pretext of "player protection"
But how do this fairy tale and an online offer of the state casinos fit together - 1€ Max Bet at roulette and or 1000€ Deposit limit - that would not be worthwhile but how to sell that now to the EU and the public?
I am curious if and if, what will come there, because by the current template they want to bring as a gambling contract legally through, they cut themselves into their own flesh should there be such plans
Because then it would come to light that the policy is about many things but not about Player protection
Incidentally, since casinos are a "state" matter, I'm not really sure whether one could agree on a concept valid for all players and there would be an online offer accessible for all of Germany or rather according to residence and state.
A lot of money is at stake, and politicians rarely agree on this

And the state would also collect taxes
