Hello first,
i was a silent reader for a long time, now I decided to register in the forum.
Unfortunately, gambling has not brought me so much luck, here is my story.
About 3 years ago I started gambling after the death of a loved one, I was able to pay out 1000 EUR with my initial Deposit of 200 EUR, but unfortunately everything got out of control...
At the time I inherited a house, value about 750K as well as 150K in cash and stocks, had an income of about 3K a month as well as savings of about 200K. in short I was doing pretty well. That was 2015, now 3 years later the bank is just auctioning off the house, all the money is gone and I have over 500K in debt. Yesterday came the account garnishment, from my salary I now have only about 1000 EUR left, have the account on the advice of the bank employee changed to a P account, to be able to access at least the garnishment-free amount.
But long story short in 3 years about 1.5 million gambled away in various online casinos. The perfidious thing about it, I'm not really a player who enjoys slots, I've always just run after my money, wanted to get back a bit of my minus. In retrospect completely crazy! Unfortunately, despite all these deposits, I almost always lost. I took the trouble to add up all my deposits and withdrawals and to calculate my gambling quota.
In three years I deposited 1.498.520,00 EUR. I have paid out a total of 56.450,00 EUR.
My play rate on the total amount and all casinos seen is 49.82%. My highest payout was 18.000,00 EUR with a 500 EUR deposit, otherwise only smaller amounts. But very often I lost 5-10K in one evening.
I primarily played at the big Online Casinos, i.e. Videoslots, Unibet, LeoVegas, etc. At many of these sites I am up to 250,000 EUR in the red. Looking back the thing that bothered me the most was my low odds, I always had hopes that I would approach the theoretical RTP of 94+% but it just never happened. Most of the time I played slots with 1-5 EUR bet, so no high rolling. Often I had no bonus for 2-3K and when it came it was 20-100 EUR, which really disappointed you. Well, I accepted that I have no luck playing and closed all accounts, much to the regret of the casinos, who for the most part still tried to talk me out of it, who likes to lose such clientele. Every day I was showered with bonus offers.
Now, however, I have lost my house as well as my savings and have almost 500K in Debt to banks and credit card companies. I am toying with the idea of personal bankruptcy, does anyone have experience and tips for me on how I might get out of this unpleasant situation? I have no money left for a lawyer and appointments at the debt counseling take a long time. I do not lament about my fate, it is bitter and felt unfair, but my own fault and as a fatalist I tell myself that fate wanted it that way. Nevertheless, I would like to try to find my way back to a normal life. Am now 59, would be nice to be debt free for retirement. As long as I don't lose my job, I might be able to turn things around. By the way, I don't miss gambling at all, I'm done with it, I'm just annoyed by the situation I'm in and I'm looking for ways out.
All the best and thank you in advance.

Just under 50%, that's really the hammer. This confirms my theory with the rip-off.
Whereby there will be now again enough that this is all coincidence, and
not representative. Or that you would have won, but continued to play instead of
instead of paying out.
In any case, the story is really awesome!
The best thing is to never play again and try to check off.
Unfortunately you can't change it anymore.
Whereby I can well imagine that this follows you into your dreams!
Maybe the one or the other can be stopped from gambling
or stops, then the contribution was worth it more than enough!

It's similar to me, with me it started in 2016, with Duzzel me first win with 1300 euros, then the cycle began, Leo Vegas and 888 Casino have only eaten, after mail contact, lock. New registrations at other well-known casinos, there it also ran and I was in a short time on 25000 high and paid out, then came another win of 33000 in addition and my payout did not work but, my Iban was deleted and I could not enter it but also Email with support back and forth had, they could not explain why...beautifully stalled until the money was gambled away.
Then again new casino searched, only deposited there my highest win 10000 last year, I became a VIP and was invited on a week trip. From the money I could have invited the entire staff including flights and accommodation 🙈
It's really not normal and now I have the same worries as you and unfortunately I do not know the exact Debt level because I was self-employed and many estimates are.
But I also can not pay a tax advisor and now have since 01.07. a new job with which I just also come to 1000 euros.
You really lose track and unfortunately also ashamed of everything.:(
So far I have read hardly contributions of such kind and therefore also held back here in the forum. So what I want to say, you are not alone. Lg

Hello...
first I would like to offer my condolences, with a loved one three years can feel like three months.
Next I would like to express my regrets, I am extremely sorry that you got into such a situation.
You want to change something?
In my opinion, the only way is to go into private insolvency, especially since you have set the deadline until retirement and with the high sum, I see black for a normal mortal.
Unless you try it again
... of course not.
Private insolvency, I think you would be done in about six years, there is also the possibility to shorten it, I think to three years, provided you can make a down payment. In order to get exact information, the way to the debtor adviser remains to you unfortunately not spared. You can get around the fact that it will take too long for you to get to the appointment if you ask at several places, but if it is still too long for you, you have to wait.
It would be wise to start now, otherwise you would have to pay for the rest of your life.

Also from me first of all my condolences....
On the subject of private insolvency: It simply takes a lot of time. To have the hope that you start with it e.g. in 2 weeks and from then on everything runs is absolutely not realistic. First of all you have to collect all your debts (creditors) and in any case go to a contact point. Furthermore, a private insolvency is also bound to some obligations on your part. First and foremost, of course, you must not incur any more debts, not even a single cent, during the insolvency process
As I said, in principle you can do this, but as I read your text between the lines, you imagine it to be much easier and faster than it actually is in the end....
PS: Another point, which, if something should be missing in your narrative also still important: If parts of the Debt funds from unauthorized acts (criminal act with corresponding judgment) originate, you can make up the private insolvency directly, because these funds may not be taken into a private insolvency

Thank you everyone for the tips and it's good to know you're not alone in your worries.
Even if this may seem strange, I warn against gambling and especially online, because you can lose your existence relaxing at home with a beer.
All the debts I have are from regular bank loans, mortgages and credit card debts. Due to my good salary, I came to enjoy high credit lines.
I'm done with gambling, I just want some peace and no Debt for my last stage of life, so I guess I'll have to tackle personal insolvency.
God knows I imagined my old age differently.

I can not believe what I read here. In three years 1.5 million gambled away only online?
Sorry that's too heavy for me to understand.
No offense, but the forum here has become too awesome for me.
I will disappear from here for a while.
Take it all well together.

Hey, there are with you unfortunately only 2 possibilities 1) Private insolvency over 6 years the 2) Would be at your age a comparison of 10-20% of the residual debt... your house you are however aufjedenfall los.So the market value of your house +10-20% as a settlement offer... otherwise one comes out of the matter no longer raus.Ich know however 2 people in your age with the same past the are simply gone into early retirement and now live in Thailand.. where they can live on their pension super and they do not have to pay a cent of the debt. But this should not be a Tip, you should bend his own mistakes already as good as possible straight! Not like many others here...(Dipson Hammerdammer etc...) to pay the debt belongs to the cure just as not to play I think!

Since it's hard for me to believe that here the casinos do not cheat.
