I agree with you !

Oh gosh, Gudrun. That's what you notice... Even with the exactly counted 5 picture comments yesterday, 5 picture comments today... PS. It didn't used to trigger me at all, but I'm obviously going a bit crazy at the moment

It's just annoying because there are so many users here who make an effort, who like being here and who keep the forum alive. Imagine if everyone just wrote nonsense like that, the forum would soon be very uninteresting. So I just think it's disrespectful to the platform and to users like us, who certainly aren't here for any points, even if the lottery at the end of the month is still fun.

But that's certainly not the driving force for most people here in the forum to be here. So I would really be in favor of admonishing such users and, if it doesn't help, simply banning them. Or new users have to write a certain number of words per post in the first 100 posts. Then there can still be a lot of meaningless nonsense, but at least they have to make more of an effort.

In normal life, I'm a really strict advocate of freedom and not a fan of bans of any kind, but in this case I would also argue in favor of admonishing users and if it doesn't help, simply taking them out of the lottery drum. The thing with a certain number of words would be too much unnecessary effort for my taste - it can be done much more effectively in other ways and it is also justified. Not because it increases your personal chances, but simply because - as you say - the quality of the forum suffers noticeably.
