so i can tell you from a reliable source what your sunmaker employee says DOES NOT HAPPEN
He said that it today should no longer be possible. The forum post is already 2 years old and the experience of TomWegas is also 10 years ago. Does anyone know a recent case where this worked from 2016 / 2017?
I am divided in the matter, by the way. On the one hand, I think it's fraud on the casino, because theoretically you could have won. On the other hand, however, it is true that Online Casinos should not allow gambling on "credit" and should do without PayPal as a payment provider. Well, actually Paypal itself should generally exclude gambling providers ...
The linked two cases of the law firm are from mid and late 2015 respectively. Imo not much has changed there. But of course it depends on the individual case. Should the one just write to the law firm
If it happens intentionally, as you describe it, it is also fraud in my opinion. If it happened for example because of Gambling addiction connected with an emotional exceptional situation then it is to be evaluated however for me somewhat differently. PayPal had a few years break with the transfers to gambling sites. In the USA, they had to pay a fine of 10 million dollars in 2003, and then they completely withdrew from gambling. Since 2015, however, they are back in the USA
As far as I'm concerned, they should make as many transfers to gambling sites as their customers want. But that it is possible via direct debit within 2 days in the amount of several thousand euros, is imo reprehensible and also questionable. But of course it depends on the individual case. If it is a bold Highroller, then it is of course something else because there probably already before such transactions were made
In case of doubt, it is always best to seek advice from a legal advisor, since the law firm to whose blog I linked has already had experience with this, you can get some advice. A legal advice you may not give as a private person anyway.

In the forum there are cases from this year also mr reekman has worked on cases this year
Well, then I'll pass that on and he should get advice. If that works, I hope that he draws the right consequences for himself and that the money does not end up somewhere else again sooner or later ...

So meanwhile there is a Deposit limit via Paypal...
I always use this because it is convenient ...otherwise I always do it via Giropay or Sofort ...
Before I have blocked me at Quasar, I have deposited there via PayPal ! After 200 € (4x50 €) then came the notice that the Provider does not allow further transactions ...(also still had enough credit on my checking account) after then 2 days later on my account was debited, it went again! maybe it was also my 4 times deposit in a row ?
Haha, PayPal has rather not learned from its mistakes. The player deposited high amounts every minute. Partly 40 transactions of several hundred euros in just one day ...

Think Paypal has learned from his mistakes ...?
Have experienced it so !
This is always individual and probably depends on the PayPal history and probably also on the creditworthiness of the respective account holder. PayPal history means, which sums were transacted otherwise in such a way and whether there were e.g. in the past already times return debit notes or not. From what PayPal makes the individual case exactly dependent I do not know, but it is definitely different for everyone!
Think also that it is related to the credit rating. But anyway: if that works out, then every player should Deposit as much as possible, bet everything on red or black at Roueltte and if you win, you can collect and have doubled your assets for a short time and if not, then you can just cancel the direct debit. One has, up to a few bad letters nothing further to fear. I can't imagine that this still goes through today (without negative consequences).

@Sweep88 times a contribution without nagging. This can not happen to me for example at Cubits(payment provider for bitcoins) in the Bitcoin casino and the deposit/withdrawal is just as fast as with PayPal.

Hello everyone,
i just wanted to let you know that Paypal still cancels the debits and does not sue. I canceled my direct debits 3 weeks ago in the amount of about 1100 € and yesterday evening I received an email from Paypal that the Debt collection will not be pursued further and on the part of Paypal no more claims exist. However, of course, the account was terminated.
To achieve this, I sent an email via the Paypal account itself on the day of the cancellation with the menu item Complaint against seller and modified the Reekmann letter. Furthermore, I sent the same email via my email address registered there. I did not have to send a letter to Luxembourg. The mails were sufficient. I didn't have to contact a debt collection agency, there wasn't enough time for that. So far I only got emails from Paypal about conflict resolution etc.
Maybe this information helps someone.
Kind regards
I know the amount here is not so large but Paypal has also already waived larger amounts
