Hello dear community,
i've been searching here for ages, but I can't find a case that suits me exactly. It is as follows: I have been playing on a site with a Curacao license (actually based on depositing and withdrawing virtual items from the computer game RUST, but you can also Deposit and withdraw money this way) for at least 2 years now. The site offers the usual, Roulette, slots etc.. What I do is deposit money on the site and if I win a lot I have it paid out in the form of cryptocurrency. We are usually talking about amounts under €1000.00, the highest so far has been around €2,400.00. Don't get me wrong, on the whole I am extremely in the red, but it happens at intervals (once a month in total €1000-1500, probably about €500 more than I have bet, then again 2 months no payouts, then again 2x a month totaling €700) that I get lucky and win. My question now is whether it can become a problem how I pay out my wins. I receive the amount in BTC/ETH from the site, as soon as I have received the amount I convert this amount into euros, I have this amount paid out to PayPal and I then transfer this money from my Paypal account to my bank account, so I do not receive a direct casino payout to my bank account, but a debit from my Paypal account, which is credited to my bank account. I have wanted to stop gambling for an extremely long time, so now would be the iDEAL time for me. Do I need to worry about anything that might come up? What about the tax office, will they perhaps even ask me about other income on my current tax return because they might have gotten wind of it? I'm very ill-informed about the whole subject and taxes, so you professionals are my best point of contact here
