Casino verification: KYC verification without withdrawal request

Hello together,

i am new here, and need support.
Had signed up at the end of last an online casino of the SUPR-Play group (Malta) and always deposited 3-digit amounts. Calculated on the month, it was actually always 4-digit. Then came two larger wins (1x 5.6K, 1x 4K), which I got paid to the bank account after complicated verification. After the wins, a series of deposits followed, but no more wins at all, so I decided not to play at this Provider anymore. Account balance was also 0 and in the end, despite 10K win, I left with a minus.

So far so good

Now I received a few days ago a KYC (Know your Customer Mail), in which I should prove my income incl. bank statement

At about the same time, however, I had already blocked the account with the support, because I no longer want to play there. Payouts are also not pending.

Now my question: Do I still have to complete this KYC Verification, or not? Frankly, I don't really want to share such confidential data. Besides, I had locked the account anyway

What can happen if I don't respond to the KYC email?

Thank you for your help!
Many greetings

Why should anything happen there?

Ok, not that the OC then thinks: He does not want to verify because the money comes from unfair means (it does not). And then accordingly reports something to the authority? I have no experience here, hence the perhaps strange questions

So I don't need to send any documents here, if the matter is actually closed?

Thank you!

Right, you must do nothing more.
If you have a payout, however, you should do it, otherwise there is no money.

I had read that a player had his ban account suspended (also related to KYC, possibly a different context).
That's why the odd questions, not that there is a "legal obligation" here to provide this evidence, regardless of payout or not.

Where did you read that? They currently can't legally demand anything at all since currently despite transition rule the game is illegal.

Reject the Verification with the reference that you have already closed your account. Such a request from the casino must be well justified.

The chance that you will lose your bank account is close to zero, and if you do lose it, it is not because you did not make the request, but because your bank suspects money laundering based on the deposits and withdrawals. And the case is very rare, but does happen per region.

In short, nothing will happen to you.

Do nothing at all and put the entire casino group on your personal Blacklist

Casinos that demand such sensitive data should be boycotted.

I still get regular SMS from some casinos where I have never registered. Some casino has passed on my data.

What do you think the casinos do with even more valuable and personal data?

you can simply ignore I think, since you have no more money above and there anyway no longer want to play
