I've never won anything really big on Scratch cards either... It's not fraud, but there are only 2-3 real winners out of 100,000 or so.

Well still 60% AQ... I want to say nothing, but from the state scrap I would have expected now significantly less! If the Spielos still had 60% AQ, I would also still be there from time to time.

Rubellos are nevertheless a very unsatisfactory offer. From time to time I buy one when I buy cigarettes at the kiosk and I had only once a win and that was just the value of the Rubellos. I gave it away and of course got a new one without any win. I didn't spend a lot of money on Scratch cards, I guess maybe 50€ in total, but it would have been a better investment in the arcade. More entertainment and at least one or two drinks for free.

The state gambling offers such as Lotto, Rubellose & Co. are always significantly worse than the private offers and usually have an AQ between 50 and 60%, gaming arcades about 75% and Online Casinos about 95%.
The only advantage with scratch tickets and lotto is that you can not play it so fast and that you collect the wins (as seen in the video) and then redeem them and do not gamble away the "interim winnings" again. Well, if you exchange the wins again against new scratch tickets, then it also looks different again ...
If you could play lotto and scratch tickets like Slot machines, the average loss would look like this:

At least with Lotto, there is another component that I can understand. My mother plays the lottery for about 20 € a month and has as far as I know never won. When I asked her once if she knows how stupid that is, she said she was only buying the dream of millions for the 20€ and what she could do with it. I could understand that somewhere. Even if slots have the average higher AQ - the chance of millions they usually do not offer. There are also these individual jackpots in this amount but Lotto has definitely produced more millionaires than slots.

Yes, that is true. But there are also more people playing lotto. Lotto is also all or nothing.

There are also nice "smaller wins" in the lottery, for example, if you get 4 correct numbers. Also, due to the massive time delay and the realistic prospects of winning and also the whole psychology around the game, the Risk of addiction is much lower than that of machines, which deliberately lure with addictive mechanisms. If the state really has the welfare of its population in mind and at the same time does not want to restrict their freedom too much, lotto is actually a perfect legal game of chance. However, since the state also operates casinos, this argument probably falls away.

The state is always the biggest criminal ...
Thanks for the table
Quite curious. The state has a problem with online casinos, but is itself the biggest money-grabber. The state gambling offer is a joke. Oddset, Scratch cards, dubious lottery tickets, etc. Contemporary and innovative competition from the Internet is met with bans, because the state can't get anything going itself.
