Hello
so I'll try to answer the questions that have arisen here
No organs will be transplanted and no drugs will be tested. Participation consists first of all of a few questionnaires and memory tasks.
The actual study then consists of two decision tasks in different environments (simple tasks on a laptop)
The study is basic research to understand how frequent gaming can potentially affect daily decisions. Through the results, we hope to gain further knowledge about the circumstances that can potentially promote the development of a Gambling addiction
You do not have to be addicted to gambling to participate, it is sufficient to gamble frequently.
To pay, there are for the participation about 70-80€ in cash + at least 40€ in Amazon vouchers.
In addition, you have the chance to advance science and of course I'm happy to share everything I know about gambling and Slot machines from a scientific perspective.
If we can reimburse travel expenses I would have to clarify first.
If there are any further questions, feel free to write me!

Hello Ben,
am relieved that the topic of organ transplantation is thus off the table. Has been haunting me a bit lately. *g*
I'm interested to hear what you have to say about gaming so far from a scientific perspective. I'm not much of a science guy, but know from friends in political science that they really like to keep everything in spreadsheets and are naturally interested in larger projects/field research. This one seems like one to me, or it might have the potential. It does sound quite interesting

Let me tell you what the truth is:
No organs are explanted there - but implanted.
Cologne is the home of excessive Kölsch consumption,
Once there you get a pig's liver implanted - then you can drink like a pig...:-P
