Good day
I'll try to keep my story here as short as possible. Unfortunately, I am addicted to gambling and have realized this and now want to actively combat it. Nevertheless, the bank has reported me. Now I have received a summons for money laundering, illegal gambling, etc. The problem is I have a criminal record because I committed subsidy fraud a few years ago, i.e. in 2022, and have received two years and eight months on probation, now you can imagine that my ass is on ice. I don't want to be lectured here, because I've realized how sick all this shit has made me. But does anyone have any experience with this? I'm female. I'm 34 years old, have a family and am afraid of losing everything.

Since you've probably already had a lawyer because of the other thing, I would first contact the lawyer and show him the summons if you haven't already done so.
Most lawyers will advise you to ignore the summons and not go there.
As I understand it, a court can revoke probation, but it doesn't necessarily have to.
Most of the inquiries here regarding suspected money laundering / illegal casinos concern players who have not yet been convicted. The best way for you is really to go to a lawyer, I don't think anyone here can give you helpful legal advice about your criminal record.
Were these only individual transactions, as with some here, or over a longer period of time? What amounts are involved?
that doesn't mean you have to go to jail. you need a good lawyer and you can't make any more mistakes..absolutely none...of course there is a Risk of a prison sentence without parole but the right lawyer should be able to save you from that..you have to be completely honest with him so that he can think about the right strategy..if you only get a public defender in the end it will be very difficult possibly

I played from June to August
I won 25000€ paid out and deposited again a few days later

If you have a criminal record and probation you are of course not allowed to commit any further crimes but since even in 2024 many people have not heard of the whitelist and the license at all (I get told every day) the lawyer could possibly get you out of it with a black eye
Ignorance does not protect against punishment, but I think this principle is much more likely to apply to acts where you could normally come to it from logical common sense and not if a website possibly pretends to offer its services completely legally for people from DE
I mean yes of course participating in illegal gambling is a criminal offense but let's all be honest, isn't there something worse?
Edit: The money laundering issue is usually already off the table after the first examination and if your Gambling addiction is also confirmed by a doctor, it could also be reduced culpability, it's best to start a therapy that helps you not to let the addiction control you anymore and can also make a good impression in court

I am completely exhausted I can't eat or drink anything
Just the thought of leaving .... I should never have registered there again but I honestly didn't know that I was making myself liable to prosecution

Why don't you go to a lawyer, he'll help you. Driving yourself crazy won't help. As stupid as that sounds. You can imagine all sorts of scenarios that will only make you even more nervous.
I would also strongly advise you to get in touch with your lawyer, but I find it strange how you can have 2 years and 8 months on probation? More than 2 years on probation is not even possible in Germany.

You're wrong, my friend, I also have a 3-year suspended sentence for drink-driving.
i work at a counseling center for gambling problems. I would also advise you to find a good lawyer who is familiar with the subject. There are many illegal gambling providers who are not allowed to offer such games. This could work in your favor.
I'm not sure if there really is a doctor who can confirm a gambling addiction. From my experience at the counseling center, I haven't found one yet. Gambling addiction doesn't cause any physical symptoms and you can't tell that you're gambling. So it's also difficult for the doctor to assess. But what you can definitely do now, before any legal proceedings, is to seek help from a counseling center. The addiction counseling centers in your area are responsible for gambling problems. You can go there and ask for confirmation of the one-to-one meetings you have had. You can give the confirmation to your lawyer and this will have a positive effect in court.
If you have any further questions, you are welcome to write to me directly or contact me on the "PlayChange" advice platform. You can find me under the name "Schmidt".
Thank you for your honesty! I hope I was able to help you a little further.

If you visit your family doctor and talk to him about your gambling problem, he will be able to help and refer you to other services - the family doctor is always the first point of contact for everything except emergencies
If you need a sick note or a certificate, you can usually get one even if it's not your first visit to the doctor

Maybe it would convince the doctor that there is a gambling problem if he brings his cell phone with all his casino apps loaded on it and then he could show the doctor all his casino activities on his cell phone. This is all visible in the casino apps when exactly depositors and withdrawals were made when you click on your casino account. If doctors have not yet found a way to detect a gambling problem in someone, that would be a possibility.

My neighbor was diagnosed with gambling addiction and he even received an additional percentage for it in his disability certificate. I think it was 10% or something.
It's a crazy world!

They cut my benefits by 20% when I turned 18. 80 to 60, because of the tax concessions the state then saves.🤔 I didn't get any healthier because of it. I've had rheumatism since the age of 6. 🙄
