Once again, the topic is player protection/gambling addiction

Do you think it is right that if you inform a casino that you have a Gambling addiction, you are not immediately blocked but have to send your request to other e-mail addresses first and the block is associated with bureaucratic hurdles (sending in documents)?

Is this allowed and possible? Or doesn't the Provider have to react immediately and take the request seriously? It's hard enough to admit to yourself that you have a serious illness - but then to have to be treated like this?

Who else knows this problem?

Hey Thomas520,

In my opinion, the casinos with an MGA license should act immediately and block you directly, since they also get various guidelines from the licensor to which they must adhere.
How it works with Curacao casinos, I unfortunately do not know.

But I find such a thing really outrageous, and am honestly a bit disappointed about the behavior of the above casinos.

May I ask out of curiosity what documents are requested?

That's true and should he Deposit there again, because they have rejected his request for blocking so far, then they would hold exactly that against him, if he should win there then and requests a payout. You won't get the win because you told us that there is a gambling problem. It is very criminal what these casinos are looking for loopholes, just so that the money flows there do not sift.

I have not experienced this kind of harassment at any MGA casino. Only with these Curacao licenses. You have to send your request to a very specific email address (security@.. or similar) and there you have to verify yourself first, i.e. upload ID, utility bills, etc. The customer service cannot/should not make such a block

Addendum: I really hope that all MGA casinos also apply for a German license, so that they all get access to the OASIS lock file.

So if I would already feel the physical urge / compulsion to play, then I would play but best in a casino with German license. There at least the whole factors (limits) can be controlled.

We don't have to talk about Curacao casinos doing what they want, but you don't have to register there. Have you already reached the point where you have to gamble for better or worse?

If I am then so far and admit to myself that I have a gambling problem, then I would get as a next step help from people who they also know about this (Caritas Diakonie addiction counseling centers, etc.)!

Sorry Hidaruma, concentrate rather on your colorful pictures.
From the disease "gambling addiction" you seem to have absolutely ZERO or no idea!

I also do not have. The exchange in a casino forum is still the wrong way.

I see the same...

And if you already write something about it, it would be welcome if you forward such users to appealing places.
Helping them here anyway can not -and animate ( play in a casino with a German license) is also anything but conducive.

Probably you only meant well - so sorry if it came across a bit clumsy.

Yes. I think going cold turkey is difficult. My recommendation is certainly not optimal, but if you have to gamble, you can at least do it where the regulations are restricted accordingly. Recommending a gambling addict to gamble is of course questionable, but I think going cold turkey will be very difficult, even though that is certainly the best option.^^
