Hi,

My name is Dirk, I come from Belgium... I am nevertheless very often in Germany

It's about this crappy disease Gambling addiction, I'm addicted to gambling since I was 16, today I'm 33 years old. I have already been admitted 4x in a clinic, but without success... But my will is very big to stop gambling, but somehow it does not work, no idea what I'm doing wrong...

I'm blacklisted in Belgium, so I can't play in a casino or online for real money .... But lotto, pub machines, gambling halls - there I can gamble away all my money without control. This sucks or.... Our government does nothing about it.

install a control system (ID card)... would really help...

What can you guys recommend?

Hi Dirk,

you can't forbid a player to play and he/she will always find a way to keep playing.
Which means: any measures are for the cat (control systems, therapies, support groups or whatever) if someone is not really willing to stop playing.

The latter seems to be the case with you - and everything else I could write to you (to help you)
