Hello dear community,

i am new here and have a problem with Slotmagie. I deposited 100 euros with SlotMagie and won 2300 euros. I wanted to withdraw the money to my PayPal account, but now they want me to verify my e-mail address and send them an old e-mail from before I registered with Slotmagie. However, I no longer have such an old email in my mailbox and it cannot be restored.
I informed Slotmagie support of this and they told me to try to get confirmation from my email Provider that my email address is in my name and how long it has existed. I did this and sent it to Slotmagie support.
They now have in writing from the email provider WHEN my email address was set up (this was BEFORE I registered with Slotmagie) and it is also clear from this that it is my personal email address which is in my own name!
I've never heard of anyone needing this before! Nevertheless, I am of the opinion that a written confirmation from the mail provider must be meaningful enough!
Apart from that, everything is verified; the player account is in my name, I have uploaded a photo of myself with ID because this was also requested. It is my own Paypal account etc! Nothing stands in the way of the payout but Slotmagie still refuses to accept the document because of the email and keeps demanding an old email from my mailbox, which is pure harassment for me so that the provider can get around paying out my win, I can't explain it any other way! I absolutely don't know what else to do, but I won't put up with it!
Can anyone help me?

LG Elisabeth

Reporting the incident to the gambling authorities

You can also report a operator who refuses your payout without authorization to the relevant gambling authority. They will then take further action against the casino.

That's what I would try next. But I would set the casino a deadline and also say that you will otherwise report it to the gambling authority.

That's how I would do it.

As someone who had a similar problem with another Provider and contacted the GGL precisely because of this, I'm sorry to say that it doesn't work like that.

GGL stays out of it "Please note: We do not process complaints relating to transactions with your gambling provider. (Source: Illegal gambling: Report a violation | GGL - Joint Gambling Authority of the Federal States (AöR)

maybe you can threaten this anyway? somehow you have to get rougher in tone

or set a deadline and write that if I don't get the money by then and then, I will take legal action.

They know that GGL won't intervene.

But your second suggestion is a good one. If necessary, write that you will then also charge the lawyer's fees You can also make the tone a little sharper here, if you like. I've also had good experiences with this, and not just with casinos.

But I would only do it in extreme cases. Unfortunately, the TE didn't specify a time frame, but I would give them a maximum of 2 weeks and then threaten everything.

I first gave them a corresponding rating on Trustpilot, to which they also replied and strangely enough my documents were accepted at the same time, now only the Verification of my PayPal account is still pending. As soon as I have a final decision whether I can withdraw the money or not I will let you know here. Thanks for the suggestions

I've never heard that you should send a confirmation email... currently SlotMagie (Merkur) should probably keep the ball very very very flat as far as this is concerned. After the current breach of data protection regulations.

Update: The problem has been solved and I have now also received confirmation that she has already received her money.

I will leave the thread open for a short period of time in case she wants to comment on the case again, otherwise I will close the thread soon.
