Sic Bo
Sic Bo is a dice gambling game played with three dice. After initially spreading only in casinos in Macau, it has become increasingly popular over the years, first in the United States and now also in Europe. It is true that just like Baccarat, Roulette and Blackjack, Sic Bo is allowed in most casinos in Germany. However, it is actually very difficult to find a land-based Casino that regularly offers Sic Bo in this country. The situation is different in the German-speaking online casinos. Here, Sic Bo can usually even be played in different versions. Sic Bo is also known as Chuck a Luck, Birdcage or Dai Siu.
How does the dice game Sic Bo work?
As already mentioned, Sic Bo is a dice game played with three dice. The Sic Bo game rules are not too complicated. The player's goal is to predict the draws as accurately as possible. For this purpose, the players place their bets on a tableau, thus entering their personal tip. Similar to roulette, bets can be placed on different outcomes. The most popular types of bets in Sic Bo include:
- Dice Face: Bets are placed on one side of the dice
- Two Faces: Bets are placed on two sides of the dice
- Totals: Betting on the total number of eyes on all dice
- Any Triple: Bets on a number appearing on all three dice
The Croupier then turns a container with the three dice, which looks similar to a cage. Once the dice have fallen, the croupier taps in the total number of eyes and the winning bets light up. Now the corresponding wins are paid out and a new round can begin. Besides Sic Bo, there are hardly any other dice games represented in the European area. These include Poker Dice and Craps in particular.
