Betting Rules
Many sports have special rules and these have a direct impact on sports betting. The following sports have special rules:
Tennis
In tennis, it happens from time to time that players have to retire or are disqualified. Basically, the rule is that the Bet will be declared void and will be settled at odds of 1.0. Attention: This does not apply to bets that have already been settled, such as set bets. If a Player retires in the second set but you have backed the winner of the first set, the bet will stand. Please note that each bookmaker may change these rules, so always check their terms and conditions.
Basketball
If a game is tied at the end of regulation time, it goes into overtime. This is 5 minutes of extra playing time that is added to the normal playing time. Overtime has already saved or destroyed one or two bets, and it can also be a blessing and a curse. There is no such thing as a draw in basketball, so this rule was introduced.
Football
In football all bets will count for the normal playing time only. If a match goes into extra time and/or penalty shoot-out, the bets will not count and will be evaluated beforehand.
American Football
In football, player betting is one of the most popular types of betting. If a player is injured during the game, the bet remains valid. The same is true for all other sports. This is the Risk of the bet.
